The problem is that USA's main allies in the region are Israel and Saudi Arabia want war. Both see this as a religious war- Shia vs. Sunni + Judaism vs. Islam. Both are a major cause of terrorism and instability in the area. Saudi Arabia has funded terrorism internationally. Iran has only assisted terrorism in its locale - i.e. oil rich areas - against US aggression. It does not need to be like this. They should work together for a solution in Palestine and much of the problems will go away.

In case you're wondering, Israel has approximately 330 readily usable armed nuclear warheads, most of them mid-range but a couple in range of the US. It doesn't need to be officially inspected by the UN because then the arsenal would be made public and foil US-Israeli plan of 'nuclear ambiguity' in the region. If Arabic countries knew 100% that Jews had nukes they'd try a lot harder to get their own, which would be a pain in the ass to deal with.

This video would be okay --minus-- all the annoying annotations. they detract from the video greatly. I might add it would have been nice to make the case for what the Iranian President said with the actual CPAN video of him saying (with translation included) or at the very least with a screen cast of the site with the text of the speech in the written word. The problem is that USA's main allies in the region are Israel and Saudi Arabia want war. Both see this as a religious war- Shia vs. Sunni + Judaism vs. Islam. Both are a major cause of terrorism and instability in the area. Saudi Arabia has funded terrorism internationally. Iran has only assisted terrorism in its locale - i.e. oil rich areas - against US aggression. It does not need to be like this. They should work together for a solution in Palestine and much of the problems will go away.
