I LOVE my ARP "White Face". I often wonder if I made a mistake in installing MIDI in it. Mine has been kept up in storage and got a little dirty. The sliders are completely gone on it. I need a serious repair job on it, but LOVE it! I bought mine in '94 for 50 bucks. A week later the guy wanted to buy it back for 300 dollars, but I didn't go for it. I do wish I could get a Minimoog for the same deal, but that is a looooong shot.
Unforunately the price for the Odyessey Mk 1 has gone up rather much, but it's still a great synth with a lot of character, and I'll pick it over the Mini almost everytime. It also has much more options compared to tha Minimoog. Only thing not so good is the slider quality...
very good, you got a great sound out of that thing. In many ways I would be cautious in saying you can get two or even three of these for the price of a minimoog....what a deal!
this is money
