It moves it up or down a half-step. Sharp = up, and Flat = down.

You hold shift and then click the note. Do the same with ctrl for flats. It's alright, that's a common issue.

Once you get past the lag this is actually very well done.

(To avoid lag in the future, in task manager put the Mario Paint Composer's priority on High. Cancels out most lag, I've found out.)
