  • Beautiful song. Beautifully played. Anyone know where I can get a simple, free download of this song? I don't care who's playing it.

  • I face a horrible dilemma for my wedding this year. My mother (who hasn’t long to live) says the one thing that would make her happy would to be for my uncle to perform his ‘funny routine’, like he did for her wedding 50 years ago.

This is a tawdry, degrading ‘blackface’ medley- like a low-rent Al Jolson wailing out of tune. I have loads of black/mixed race guests coming, & it’s going to be the most embarrassing moment of my life…

  • @SuperTruth77 Please, if there is nothing you can do to stop this... videotape it, for the sake of youtubes!

  • Simply wonderful, a joy to the ear, and people should talk less and listen more i feel.

  • Execellent play but the background noise makes it hard to concentrate might i suggest reposting it after you record it somewhere a little quieter you'll probably get more hits.

  • You are a great ARTIST, even with (and more with) that awful background noise :o)

  • .. the hazards of playing piano for people who can never truly appreciate it!! I've been in your place many times, but I used to find the background noise allowed me to 'forget' the audience were there (..that they mattered --harsh!!).. and really concentrate on connecting with the music. I think you've done a fab job, thanks for uploading!

  • can you give me the sheet of these?? i want to learn to play classical music instead of modern 1.

  • quality is just not good enough to listen to this recording, sorry.

  • i like it :)

  • you manage to achieve what the composer asks! And you add your personnal touch! Excelent interpretation!

  • such beautiful music

  • BRAVO...THANK YOU

  • baah, the noise in the background disturbs the music alot..

  • awesomeeeee!

  • A for the effort, but you play as if it was written in the romantic period.

  • huh? i think he COMPLETELY nailed it

  • It's fine, Mozart was a late Classical. A little rubato isn't inappropriate.

  • Wow, I can't believe noone clapped at the end!! *applauds* If I were there, I'd be paying no attention to the party and just listening to the lovely music :D

    5 Stars!!

  • que equilibrio y sencibilidad!!!

  • @HeartsTatum

Hahaha, I could see that point. I heard one of his early piano sonata's and was like. . . 'Mozart?. . . '' Hah.

  • Eventhough the noise, I can still hear that impressive performance of him.

I liked his technique and interpretation of the music

  • too much noise in the backround so it really maks it hard to pay attantion to your actuall playing...

  • Thank you for this video. There are noises at the background. Do you want me to tell them " sssssheeeeeee ". Thanks.

  • A lot of my videos have the same background noise because there's people talking and eating in the same room as me and I am there for their pleasure. Sometimes people are quiet and listen, but not always...

Thanks for your kind comments, I do especially love playing this piece! (there are a few mistakes - but I hope it still shows) xx

  • Thank you, joosscott. It is okay, as long as you share the music with us, that is okay.

  • very nice indeed. I wish I could follow the score (much less play it). My favorite recording of this is the one by Richard Goode.

  • wonderful!

  • I wish I could see the face of the person playing. He has great dexterity and exceptional sensitivity.

  • is this the same piece played in nodame cantabile, where nodame joined the competitoin? i cant seem to find the part nodame played. is it the same piece?

  • Beautiful beautiful!! What relaxed hands and wrists. Very lyrical. You are a wonderful pianist.

  • thanks for your nice comment!

  • thx

  • This is one of my FAVORITE pieces, and what a pleasure to hear it played so nicely! Good job!

  • mine too! thank you x

  • amazing piano playing !

  • very good playing but the backgroud noice is very irratating

  • Sorry I'm wondering if you could help me. This is a pretty stupid question but I want to know the name of a mozart piece for piano. All I know is that it's in a minor key and is at a fast tempo. It has a major shift for the second part of the melody. Sorry for being ignorant but I'd really like to know the name of the piece.

  • The other A minor sonata is good. Not sure if that be what ye be meaning

  • Sorry, there is only one A minor sonata which is the one this person is playing now. The only other sonata in minor key is K.457, in C minor (which follows after a Fantasy as well, K475). The one with the Alla turca as the last movement of the sonata is in A major, k331. Cheers.

  • i like it :) good for homework

  • button your cufflinks whats wrong with you

  • lol

  • A beautiful performance

  • 1) nice touch... good articulation.

    2) However, take note of your tempo. It's fluctuating.

    3) Some wrong notes played.

  • This is such a ridiculous comment it's almost like a joke.

Yeah sure... this performance would benefit from strict adherence to a metronome, right? The guy must have no sense of internal rhythm, right?

Are you a space alien or something? This performance is flawless.

  • Er, even space alien knows how to listen to music...

By the way, I didnt say that this guy have no sense of internal rhythm. I think you have read too much into my comments. Fluctuating tempo doesnt mean no sense of internal rhythm, it can be caused by nerves. Thanks. Cheers. =)

  • Well, sorry for the angry outburst, but I still don't see how anyone could criticize this performance. He does not sound rushed or "nervous", he sounds perfectly leisurely, the way Mozart should be. If you think this should be any different, that's a matter of personal taste. It is quite clear that this player has complete control in creating the sound he wants to make.

  • Well, if you are in my shoes, having learnt this piece and hearing many versions of this, you will notice that it is not perfect yet. In fact, there is no such thing as a 'flawless performance' unless you are like some professional pianist who aims to do things perfectly. Yes, i agree that this guy has complete control of his touch, there are some good things in this performance. Maybe it's interpretation wise?

  • As davlor86 commented, "is this really from Mozart?.. I thought it was Chopin at the beginning'

Ok I dont want to continue another debate with you and thank you for picking on my comment to comment on. Cheers.

  • wow looks like you have a VERYYY big house lmao.

    btw nicce playying

  • uhhhh who cares? listen to the music if you want to see houses search for houses....

  • So what? It looks like a beautiful house. There's absolutely nothing wrong with commenting on that just cuz the video's about music.

  • Lol it is OBVIOUSLY a church.

    wow.

  • Haha nobody cares, man

  • Fantanstic. Only wish the background noise didn't get in the way of listening to your beautiful playing.

  • thumbs up.

  • love the way you play this piece..very beautiful

  • You fuckin rock. Have tears. kick ass dude.

  • this is really from Mozart?

  • duh.

  • i was just wondering, i thought it was Chopin at the beginning

  • You did a really great job :) thaks for that moment.

  • I don't want to be mean but it is very romantic, mozart must be played more classic, however I am very onorthodox with those things, anyhow, very nice preformance !!!!!

  • i agree 100%, i think one must necesarily take in most count the composer's intention as well as the context in which the piece was written

  • I don't get this "mozart MUST be played more classic" like it's a requirement to play a song exactly as someone else did.

You can play it any way you like.

  • Sensitively played!

  • the building in the background looks very nice,

    good playing as well.

  • There were errors here and there and some areas weren't played in time, but overall you played it very delicately and romantically. Good job

  • such a pretty piece. too bad there's so much background noise.
