Yes, I did. I tried learning through this book called mel bays guitar method a long time ago and I recommend you do the same. actually I don't cos that book didnt help for shit. The best way to learn guitar is to just play along to songs like I do. and If you want to learn the chords and notes, pick up a copy of guitar for dummies, that is a great book

yea, my mom had a really old guitar book and it confused me more than anything lol. Then I realized, I kind of just wanted to play songs I liked, so I've basically been working on that lol. But thanks for your help and advice!
