Peter Cullen was the original voice for KARR in the episode Trust Doesnt Rust in 1982 as well as Optimus Prime in Transformers cartoons and movies he wasnt the voice tho in KITT VS KARR
Though I always thought that Paul Frees did a better job as KARR than Peter Cullen did on his initial outing, Cullen does much better here than even Frees-- KARR sounds truly malicious and evil ; sent chills up and down my spine, like KARR's deep, ominous boom of a voice in the original 'KITT vs. KARR'. I find it truly amazing that after all this time Cullen is in as fine a voice as ever, or mostly so, even since his days as the very first KARR.

Sadly his voice in the bay movie sounds nothing like his original Prime voice.
