    Good question... you can do kneeling push ups at the end because they are certainly a modified version, however we prefer incline pushups because it is less likely to lose form. Incline push ups can be modified to any level if you play with the angle... more vertical = easier, more horizontal = harder. Placing hands on a smith machine bar is a great way to adjust the angle.

  • wrong if you do pushups vertical, then more of your weight is pushing down on your arms

    Thanks for your comment, but I think you misinterpreted my explanation for a vertical push up. I do NOT mean completely inverted (vertical handstand pushups) I was simply referring to vertical --as in closer to standing. Example: a more vertical push up against the wall is much easier than a more horizontal push up with your hands on the floor. :)
