I don't understand where you are coming from at all... what is the difference if the stats say you have 63, 64, or even 1000 catches... are you that concerned about what other people think of your game... i don't know about you, but I let my wins talk for me.... I don't know, maybe just me?

what hes saying is that the programing is so bad that it will let some one guy get 76-100 catches and then on the front of the box is written the most realistic sim football game to date when the progamming wont allow you to stop a slant graphically yes its great but the cpu just ruins it and this happens online to completely ruining the experience especially when the developers dont care just look at this months game informer ian says that none of the issues we have seen has happened to him
It is adding the yards and Touchdowns. It just seems that 63 is a lock for catches. Could just be code limit in the program.
I'm sure Ian never thought someone would try this. I can overlook this issue...but the other issues of player control and cheating need address and fast.
first off any mention of eric moulds is 5 starred. second, the reason why the receptions stop @ 63 is a programming thing called strings and integers. you set it for how many characters you want 2 display. in ea's case since they guessed NO ONE would catch 64 balls in a game, the character limit is between 0 & 63, with the value named 64. even with 360 & ps3 we still have to follow the laws of C & C++
Great theory ,, I can't say your wrong ,, however wether the CPU thinks it's possible or not ,, It happened. What if the CPU thinks 8 sacks is impossible but you somehow achieve 9 of them ,, then what,, It shouldn't be up to the CPU to place a limit on the human ,, It should be the other way around.
but the 63 catches could be just a number thing, it still maybe counting them (if ur in a franchise) like how the most you can score is 255 (when really you scored more)
I may be more inclined to believe this as it has done this with tackles in previous games. however, still versuz, it is completely wrong, unfortunate and just one of the many little oversights that cause this game to be increasingly frustrating
