I completely agree. This piece and especially this movement opened my eyes to dimensions of classical music i have never felt on such a level before. Whenever the violin ascends up the g string it has that quality to just put you in comoplete solace.
The passacaille is one of the most beautiful pieces of music in my opinion, and I dont understand why this trio isnt played more often. It brings tears to my eyes
This beautiful trio should be played more often. The 3rd movement is especially touching, using the ancient form of a passacaglia. Thanks for posting it moofxx.

wow i love this movement! For some reason, it reminds me of Civ III, although my research tells me the game didn't use this piece...
the Civ games have a lot of good classical though, not just a few overplayed works

i love this song. i saw beaux arts trio play this in austin texas and i got them to autograph my copy of the score.
