  • i have the same phone for 2 years and no scratches best smartphone ever

  • Look at how thick that POS is! Buy the real Smartphone, the Apple iPhone!!!!!

  • if i'll scratch it i'll buy another case...but..at 95 simple i cannot buy RAM memo or a or a bigger display.... :-/

  • it's not stupid thing have a Zeiss optic and not a lens cover in a smartphone??

  • its not that bad!!

  • thats why i got the classic N95 and not 8GB..

  • hell yeah. i too

  • thats a fail. N95 8GB is way better. In everything.

  • lol that how i can know if your an idiot or not.... the classic and the 8GB are the same phone exept the screen on the 8GB is alittle bigger and the flash... the software can be easily updated and the classic will reboot like the 8GB one..

but my picture quality will be much better then yours because i dont have all the scratches and the dirt you have on your camera protection glass...

so you are the one who failed here and not me!

  • No you failed again.... N95 has DOUBLE more RAM, a stronger processor, a better, not only biger screen, better multimedia menu, and doesnt open it when you switch to landscape mode, better music keys, better quality of the phone itself(scratch resistant), and the battery cover doesnt fall off. And i have no scratches on it. There are more things to it but this is all i could remember because im tired atm

  • remembered one more thing: the screen of the 8GB is at the same level as the phone, so you dont have any dirt in the corners

  • @maxman2324 you also forgot the part about it having like 8gb, 5mps, a faster processor ,better external upgrades, and the buttons dont scratch off .

iv had both i woud know

  • @NeDamoKosovo00 hell yeah

  • use displex on it. it removes scratches off

  • lol you must be putting your n95 8g in your pocket with your keys and sharp stuff , but why there isn't any scratches on the cover that's kind of mysterious

  • i agree

  • i think he scratch it in purpose or something...

be cause you can't see any scratch on the cell cover just the lens cover wtf

  • i've got one and i put the phone lens-side down, it's just easier

  • whats up with ur voice looks like u very sleeping all the time...no scratches on my 8gb 2 years and nothing to it cuz i keep my phone in a silky cloth piece not in stones and rocks

  • i have a n81 8gb but still u cant even see a single scratch on my phone even though i am 16 a year old phone user

  • And that is not the lins man! Have you rock in your poket or what? I'we had that phone over a year and have no scratshes on what you call a ''lens'', but around it yes! LOL

  • The camera cover was removed bekouse the battery couldnt fit if they didnt remove the cover , and not bekouse it opened the camera in the pocket , i had 1 year n95 , and never opened when i had it in my pocket !!!

  • Jup, nokia even admitted it on their site.. for all the fools with the pocket thing. L2 to do some research

  • hmm..is there a way to prevent this? i was using a nokia leather case CP-235 and..by a year, there's at least some little scratches..

  • @endlessmidnite get a zagg full protector. Not sure if they cover the camera lens, but its scratch proof on the screen. Also, for less than ten bucks on ebay you can get a whole new housing, in different colors. Its not a big deal if you scratch it up..cheap fix!

  • hahaha what an Idiot!!:D:D

  • the way you handel it dude...

  • eah, I mean damn! What does he do with the phone? drag it along the floor? lol lol lol

  • omg i had 3 years long a w810i with NO lens cover.

an there are no scratches ;)

  • a careless people always got that one..

  • Just polish the surface with a mild cream cleanser after which it does not mark / scartch again. It has an initial surface on the lens which can easilly mark. Once that has been removed with a polish and cotton bud you will no longer suffer and scratches.

  • This is what i'm absolutely scared of.

  • jeeeeeese some people are so picky!!!!!!

  • the reason they removed the cover was to make room for the bigger battery in the 8 gig (950miliamps to 1250) to compensate for the crap battery life it has.

  • You're wrong. They removed it due to the camera being activated all the time when in pocket and the lens cover would open and activate camera therefor draining the battery life with camera on.

Not to fit a battery in lol

  • i agree wit u

  • you are totally wrong te remove it...so the battery would fit... please research before writing dumm stuff!!! ;)

  • nokia are really stupid why they remvoed teh cover :S i still cant understand what the point of removing it?

  • imp battery space

  • the original N95 had a cover...i dont know why they got rid of it?

  • as far as you know is it possible to replace the scratched lens cover?

  • lol, you sound so depresed man lol
