yeah i started because of how chill longboarding was! It was cool just to cruise along and cross step, but now you have to go 50 mph or do some insane skateboard moves. Adam squared is the epitome of what i think longboarding should be.

@HaunBomb I totally agree. Most of the videos out now have such an aggressive, all-out feel. I really miss the laid back dancing, carving, and old-school moves. To me, that's what longboarding is all about, and it's the reason I got into it.

@HaunBomb This is the same reason why I started. I don't care about the sliding and tricks, it just looked like good college transportation and good fun. It is definitely a work out for transportation, more so than walking! I plan on starting to learn to dance on it soon.

You dudes have inspired me to buy my first longboard this hanukah. So I will have no experience when it comes to riding one, infact I've only seen one in my life and that was just a random person on the streets :D. I am 5 3" weigh 105lbs and I am 14 years old. I want a board that can carve hard, dance nicely, and do some flip tricks. I like how the NS Heist looks. What do you think I should get?

fts, your retarted skiny, so you should (could) go with a more flexy deck, every one gets the loaded dervish, but you could look at the Flexdeck L37, but if you dont like that style of board then look at the more main stream board companys, like gravity or neversumer.

Its all relative to what you want to do, more speed means less flex (usualy)
