Hyoyeon's individual, most prominent features haven't changed drastically, but that certainly doesn't mean that other surgery is completely out of the question when one looks at the big picture. If Hyoyeon had surgery, the VERY LAST part of her face she'd change is her nose, eye bags, etc.

If you ask me, Yoona would actually be underrated considering people call her untalented and thinks she should get kicked out of SNSD when she can dance and sing a note at least.

Her nose was different and her face features have changed. Of course, some people even after plastic surgery look a bit the same because they don't have something really horrible to change. @DisneyStarsTube Bit of a opinion. She may have a basic face to you, but to me, she's pretty. She's not good at singing, but arguably on Hyoyeon's level. She's a good dancer, 3rd or 4th in SNSD. Her acting is probably the best in SNSD but SNSD aren't that good at acting either though, and this is coming from a SONE too.

@DisneyStarsTube I think people like Yoona because she's very approachable. Her facial features are, indeed, very plain and basic, but they're non-threatening. She looks innocent and passive, whereas idols like Hyoyeon and Sooyoung have a more fierce/aggressive look.
I'm sure it's mostly a result of cultural standards of beauty. I see you live in the US. I live in Canada, and I'd say that, here in North America, we appreciate beauty like Hyoyeon's more than Yoona's.

I'm not an anti YoonA or something but I have seen many YoonAddicts create an account to go to post comment like "YOONA IS BEAUTIFUL" and bash other member. Like, they bash Yuri saying that YoonA is the sexiest even without trying and Yuri is a poor girl. They bash Hyoyeon saying that YoonA is the real dancing queen... etc.

But look at the full video, YoonA, at first, moves in 2# position (she thinks that she is the prettiest but still just moves in the 2# and maybe the MC will pick her for the 1#) but Taeyeon is here first and in the same time, every member chose their places so YoonA was forced to moves to the free position.
