The first thing shown after the "space shuttle" is clearly a defocused star with something else obstructing the front aperture of the scope, very close to the opening. The second thing shown is claimed to be jupiter, but it's completely unrecognizable, extremely overexposed, and oblong, indicating the tracking was horrible during the exposure. The jumbled mess next to "jupiter" is one of its moons, smeared by the aberrant motion of the scope.

This is all very interesting but there is no context or reference. Everything is out of focus - who says that this is what the space shuttle looks like - doesn't look like the space shuttle to me. There's no depth perception, no identifiable reference objects - i.e. who says that's Jupiter? It's a fuzzy blob on a black background.

And the fast moving lights in the night sky? FOlks, I live in the country and get a damned near pristine view of the sky. I see fast moving lights in the sky too. Seen them up close as well. They are low orbit satellites that are SUPRE easy to track with your tripod unaffixed at the scope base. I've counted as many as 14 in one night. They're nothing.

A few friends and I have been spotting what looks like moving stars. Definitely not planes (normal ones anyway) as they move way to fast, often are VERY bright and then suddenly dim to the point where you can just about see them and then suddenly disappear. In the article it says that "similar photo's were taken by GOES image servers around the world and erased very quickly in the U.S.A." To be truely convincing a proper shot would pan from the front of his house (with address number in plain view) to a shot of the street he is on, then upward to the hovering helicopter - all in one continuous shot. Lots of these things can also be seen with the naked eye; you just have to spend lots of time watching the sky late at night (around 2 AM). Look for smallish red 'stars' that seem to vibrate or flit back and forth - once you know what to look for, you'll start seeing them more frequently.

This video presents several questions. First, the observer would have to either know precisely where these objects were to film them, or have incredible luck to just "happen" to catch them. Secondly, if there are objects of such size in orbit, it would be very hard to hide the many launches needed to construct such platforms, which appear larger than ISS. Thirdly, these objects are, I believe, fake (some do look like familiar sci-fi spacecraft) or a mis identified ISS.
