Two times i leaked through my pants and both times they were before i had gym and in gym theres a bathroom stall that has its own sink! THAT STALL WITH ITS OWN SINK SAVED MY LIFE. I washed my pants and hanged them in my gym locker. 45 mins later they were dry!

ugh my parents are divorce so i just so happen to be at my dads at the time i told my step mom and she made my dad go with me to get some pads it was sooo embarrising oh and one time i was at a pool party i jumped in the pool and my tampoon started flooting around it was so gross but luckly nobody knew it was mine :)

irregular cycles are normal only if your within hte first 2 years of starting your period because you dont ovulate untill then normally thats also when the painful cramping comes bc of hormoens that come from ovulation and if you havent had your period by 16 unless your a professional athlete youu need to see a doctor just to double check things are ok :)

I was actually really excited when I got my period, I just had a little red dot in my underwear and ran to tell my mom. I was 11. I didn't have any pain for the first couple years or so, but then I started getting all the symptoms and heavier bleeding (sorry I don't mean to be too graphic!). And I'm 14 now. I think 22 is really really old to be starting your period, unless you have really low body fat. Usually it's at least before 16.

@Legallyblonde311 it's totally normal if you're late or skip a period if you're sick. That usually happens sometimes cause of stress. But if it ALWAYS happens, talk to a dr just to see if everything is ok :)

Seeing as tampons rip the hymen. It's considered losing your 'virginity' but some girls are born without one and others already have ripped it through sports and horse-riding. So there is no 100% way of telling if a girl is a virgin now.

I don't think your sick, but it means your period is irregular. I've gotten mine late before, & sometimes it skipped a month. I'm not 100% sure it's okay, to skip a month or for it to be late. You might want to ask a doctor about it.

@dodsomir don't worry that happens to me and i'm almost 19 , i went to my doc and she said it's normal, especially if you've had it happen before - it usually means you aren't ovulating yet. I would go and see a doctor though, because 3+ months is a prettu long gap.

The best tip i can get for getting your period is that you are going to get cramps, when you do, go for a run, or try to exercise a lot because then your period will be like nothing. During rugby season for me mine is 2 days long and i forget a lot that I'm on it. But off season, it's pure hell.
