  • Love your playing dude!

  • Why are you playing in front of a camera in a small room and not on a massive stage with 100 thousand people gazing at you next to ZZ Top, Joe Sat or Santana?

Furthermore, how is it this video only has 5K views? You need to record an album and release it on iTunes or for download somewere.

    Keep rocking!

  • fantastic

  • awesome^^ you are really good!!

  • cool performance !!! Keep Rocking !

What are ur amp and satch's settings ?

    5 stars !

  • Can I throw my pants at you please Mr Cruden?

  • What mode(s) are you using, amazing job man!!!

  • very nice

  • To GroovyGuitar - I have a VC30 that I boost the preamp with. It's a great sound; but it's still more of a vintage voicing. It wouldn't be a modern tone like the video above. Think of Queen lead tones.

  • thanks :) i've ended up with a marshall JCM900 i'm very happy with !

but i still can't find this nice lead tone , i should try a VOX satchurator or other light distortion pedal in front of my amp ... may smoothen the tone , what do you think ?

  • yeah; I would recommend some type of overdrive. You don't need much distortion from the pedal at all; the saturator may be too much.

When I play with a band i just use the amp breaking up for a rhythm sound and then switch on an overdrive for leads

  • I love it!!! your brilliant!!!

  • Very Nice!!!

  • tasty note choice and feel matey

    Very good !

    +5

  • very good sound

  • Wow, this sounds really good, both technique and tone wise.

Hey, what guitar do you have there and what pickups are in it?

  • Thanks, the guitar is an Ibanez RG3270m pickups not too sure but I know the mid pickup is a 'blue velvet'.

  • your playing is great. lots of good techniques and varieties, awesome!

  • great playing! and the satchurator sounds great also

  • sounds great, whow do you rate the satchurator compared to a tube amps crunch channels?

  • pretty good it has a lot more body than my laney channel but it depends what setup you have as it can have different results.

  • Nice job, man... I've been really wanting to try this pedal out. What were your gain settings and was the 'more' button mashed?

  • thanks, the pedal was - gain '8', tone '4', volume '5'. The amp was set pretty neutral eq wise and on the clean channel. The more button wasn't on but its great for adding a little kick/size to the sound and it cleans up very nicely.

  • Good stuff...thanks for the post as I'm sure I'll wind up gettin' this sucker

  • is your VC30 reacting well with boost and overdrive pedals ? 'cause i dig the tone of a laney VC30 but don't know if it's any good when you push it a little with a boost ...
