  • Why does America think it is "God's country"? Was it "God's Will" for them to expand from coast to coast? - I don't think so. Rather it seems to be a classic case of "Man's Will". I don't see America (then or now) as a "Christian country". It is just a place like any other with good and bad in it.

  • elijahakicita has been blocked from posting remarks about Richard Twiss until he personally makes an attempt to communicate directly with Mr Twiss to discuss his points of view, seeking honest dialogue in the Spirit of Jesus.

  • May the eyes of the Anglo society be opened to understand the hurts and be sensitive to not give more offense...and may the Host Nations learn to forgive those that have hurt them...wado for your stance my Udo!

  • @Coach429 it is very difficult for them to understand as they have a totally different culture and they don't have the same way of handling pain...unless you live in a culture it is hard to explain it's ways or to understand them...maby even impossible..and the bible says all the ways of a man seem right to him in his own eyes...so each person assumes they are on the right side of the issue!!!

  • You are very judgemental!! Love over comes all! why you just labeling indian. you also sound racists! Where's your priorities making judgements! sound like you need to develope relationships with native to really get to know them! It's the devil who reminds of wrong doings!

  • Great video! Very accurate.

I'm not familiar with the Inter Catera doc, Arnold, but to my understanding, "Manifest Destiny" wasn't a contemporary term during the time of westward U.S. expansion, it was coined or at least applied soon thereafter by historians and the like to describe the ideology that was held by those who promoted and participated in that expansionist goal, the idea that it was God's will for the US to extend from coast to coast.

  • Would you agree, "Manifest Destiny" is a coined phase for the original discovery doctrine (Inter Catera, May 3,1493)and reinvented to open the west for goldminers in the mid 1800's?
