After I was done looking around the kids section , I came and found my mom who had lewis talking directly to her in front of a crowd! He even talked to me a bit when I came and got my mom. Having travelled around the world and been to many many countries. I can honestly say that i'm plenty glad to be living in America. Sure its not perfect, but we got it better than just about every other place there is.

Our healthcare is supplied by many separate legal entities, such as medicare and medicaid. They each have their own policies and structures. If your a poor american who broke his leg, you CAN walk into the emergency room and receive care, BEFORE they ask for payment or insurance information. You pay later, and if you can't afford it, there are special agencies who help.

While it is funny to see Lewis Black's angry rants, I disagree with his view of America. America is No. 1! Compared to other western industrialized countries, America has the highest rates of crime, rape, CO2 emissions, divorce, teen pregnancy, heart attacks, and incarceration. All Americans should be proud of these accomplishments as they took much time and dedication. I am proud to live in a nation where health insurance and a college education are no longer affordable. In fact, America is the world leader in medical research and technology, along with university level education. As for health insurance and college education; personally, I can afford them both. I'm from Germany and in a concentration camp right now because i said that most Americans are intolerant and abso-fucking-lutely know nothing about what happens in the world around them (yes, a world outside the USA actually exists!)
But..wait...one thing in the last sentence is completely wrong. Guess what it is..?!

No Siree, only in America can you do that because it's our right. Germany doesn't tolerate human rights and compassion. That'll teach you. I find it strange that one moment, the Americans say we in Europe are too liberal, but the next moment, we are a dictatorship. Do you really think there still are concentration camps in Europe? You may have written "germany" where you meant "U.S.A".

People like him make up a small percentage of us, while most Americans are very aware of the world around them. If you visit America, you will see this. Besides: we don't have death penalty and a much better health-system than the best country of the world.
