I thought that he was very underated as the Doctor. The only reason that I feel that the McCoy era was a let down was due to how the show was treated by the BBC. They employed some really bad scriptwriters after all the major writers had left the show. Then they mucked about with the schedule so that no-one knew when it was on. The BBC had effectively killed it off, which was a shame because it was getting back to somewhat like its old self. I hate the BBC for that.
No, this is a tribute to his portrayal of the Doctor. And anyway, surely you can have tributes before you die? Think of the Beatles. Two of them are still alive, and there are loads of Beatles tribute bands!
I hated his introductory season in which he was told to play the part like a buffoon. I remember him playing spoons and shudder. But then when his Doctor started to emerge as being more cerebral and scheming, a darker Doctor than the ones we had seen before, it was then his Doctor started to pick up some real steam. The series was cancelled just as McCoy was starting to hit his stride as the Doctor. One can only imagine what if he had been allowed to run with the character for more seasons.
I was only generalising. If I had all their last appearances as the Doctor, then I would have to update the videos every time Big Finsih released a new CD! That would be annoying!
Ace and Seven had an almost father/daughter relationship, and I would be interested to see what would happen with Ten and Ace. How would they respond to each other now that so much has changed?
He is possibly the best doctor of all time, at least in the top three. He never really had a good companion and was given some bad writing numerous times.
damn! I meant to press 5 stars, but the mouse slipped and I pressed 4 I'M SO SORRY! I'll change it if I can! SORRY! I MEANT 5! This is awesome! keep up the good work!

Nice tribute! Just one thing I saw wasn't right: the era date - McCoy's Doctor lasted from 1987-89 and 1996.

the chemistry between the 7th doc and Ace makes for one of the best ever doctor campanion pairings

I agree. I want to see Ace on New Who.
