I thought the Romans (under the General Titus) took the arc with them to Rome after they destroyed Jerusalem in 60AD. The Romans even drew pictures of the arc being carried by the roman soldiers and engraved it on the Gate of Triumph in Rome. You can still see that today in Rome. From my knowledge, the arc was replaced in the second temple after the Jews came back from Babylonian exile and until the second destruction of the temple. I don't know why these documentaries say strange things.

There are too many scriptures that point to a pre-trib rapture, so much so that I'm bewildered post-tribbers can ignore them all

Yes I do believe that our mighty God is MORE than capable of preserving the Ark. Weren't the Dead Sea Scrolls found? The Pyramids? The Sumarian Tablets (over 5000 years). So if all of these popped up, surely the ARK and it's valuable contents, mainly the 10 Commandment Tables written by God's own finger are possible. They were made of stone just like the rest. @nitajo45 The Council of the Garden Tomb Association totally refute the claim of Mr Wyatt to have discovered the original Ark of the Covenant or any other biblical artifacts within the boundaries of the area known as the Garden Tomb Jerusalem.

@CaptainChanzy Though Mr Wyatt was allowed to dig within this privately owned garden on a number of occasions (the last occasion being the summer of 1991) staff members of the Association observed his progress and entered his excavated shaft. As far as we are aware nothing was ever discovered to support his claims nor have we seen any evidence of biblical artifacts or temple treasures.

@CaptainChanzy the fact remains that the ARK is in the cave below golgotha; so now that the isreali govt wont let anyone close to the ark any longer because people have been stricken and fallen over to the point they were hospitaled for months until the LORD JEHOVAH let them walk agin.the angels stand guarding the ark and it is said.."The Ark wont be made public until the Mark of the BEAST is implemented in society" Unquote.so do your homework and reason and figure out why its still in the cave!

@1962mikie well to be honest it is most likely still in the cave because of fear...fear of what would happen should it be seen by an unprepared world....because nothing could prepare people for the sight of the Ark. Second, do you have any idea what the mark of the beast is? I would be keen to know your thoughts on it, as I already have "mine" though my thoughts are shared by many...

I thought the Romans (under the General Titus) took the arc with them to Rome after they destroyed Jerusalem in 60AD. The Romans even drew pictures of the arc being carried by the roman soldiers and engraved it on the Gate of Triumph in Rome. You can still see that today in Rome. From my knowledge, the arc was replaced in the second temple after the Jews came back from Babylonian exile and until the second destruction of the temple. I don't know why these documentaries say strange things.

I believe the Arc of the Covenant will be officially revealed to the public during the upcoming 7 year tribulation, one of many signs from God to an unbelieving world. But we'll be raptured and out of here before then.

Seems that in the mid-1990's the manuscripts from Ephraim the Syrian, a bishop in the Assyrian church, from 373 a.d. were found that totally prove the early church believed in a pre-tribulation rapture. Google it before the next time you're inclined to state what you did above, please. There are too many scriptures that point to a pre-trib rapture, so much so that I'm bewildered post-tribbers can ignore them all

@Raymond1967 No, there is no evidence whatsoever to support the 'rapture' heresy. No early Christians believed in it, they had never even heard of it. The heresy originated from a protestant pastor after his end-world prophesies failed. There is no such thing as the rapture in the early Christian councils.

Few manuscripts are still around from that time, but what God had preserved is sufficient to show the teaching of pre-trib rapture. Also, look at 2 Thessalonians 2, written around 52 to 54 a.d. They previously received a forged letter and were freaking out. Paul reminds them the "falling away" occurs before the antichrist shows up and the tribulation starts. CONTINUED

PART 2 - as the Christians were already being persecuted and killed everywhere, it was not the threat of persecution that troubled them -- it was the mistaken belief that they had missed the rapture! No other possible explanation fits the text, although I'm sure the post-tribbers will come up with something. I'm not into bending scripture to fit my point of view, rather I'm into allowing my world view to be bent to fit to scriptures. Scoff all you want, it's pre-trib. 2 Peter 3:3
