  • do you ride at kjm because thats where i go

  • Keep your hands even, and quiet your legs. Other than that, it was a good course, Good Job!

  • COOL!

i wish my stables did shows great riding

love your two point its awsome

  • Cute! I miss seeing vids of Diego

  • Practic on lots of figure 8's so you can get flying lead changes perfecto

  • I think you should pull your sturips up at leat one or two holes. Mybe you should practic posting when ever you ride bareback, So you can get better legs. Your jumping was good, just try to keep your horses moving.

  • great job on winning champion! beautiful horse and nice position. lol the jumps were a bit small for me though XD

  • How hight are the jumps??

  • they look about 2 feet to me not even.

  • They're 18 inches.

  • okay yeah so a 1'6

  • Yup. :)

  • 18 inches.

  • Fantastic job. What a cute pony. What division is this in ?

  • Thanks! Diego's not a pony though. He's a little over 15 hands. This is Long Stirrup. :)

  • I'm going to be in a horse show next weekend, and to practice, my teacher made me canter jumps without stirrups with my right hand behind my back! Good job by the way.

  • i won champion at a hunter show b4! lol gr8 job

  • he doesn't look dirty

  • I know!

  • u might wanna think about giving him a bath before the show, thats what we do to my horse Windtalk, she the bestest friend i could ever have!

  • He did get a bath before the show! He doesn't look the least bit dirty to me..

  • thats his coloring smart one!

  • nice riding i do horse back ridin too and i jump about 2feet and my horse that i ride is FLETCHER i love him i love doing shows outsides it's soo refreshing.

  • great job! your horse is soo cute!!

  • you did great at my first horse show i ended up face first in a pit of water with ud stuffed in my face and my horse doing the course with out me

  • it was every nice

  • That was pretty good. Okay lead changes. I guess your horse can't do flying changes. I'm in Long Stirrup. My last show was the first time I've ever done it. I got reserve champion. What did you get in that round? First?

  • Nope he doesn't have flying changes. That's why I'm doing long stirrup. I got first in this round.

  • that was great! im my first horse show i accidently was on the wrong diagnol! it was a tad embarrassing! :] nice lead changes!

  • Heyy! Looking good! Just a little tip, when you first enter your canter, you sit a little heavy, lighten up, the horse will be more into giving you your lope!

  • good job!

  • those r really small jumps, but u did them nicley the only thing i would sugest os keep ur butt in the saddle:)

  • *sigh* yeah, thats Long Stirrup. 18", and no higher. It's REALLY gay! I'm moving to beginners, 2'3", this year on my new horse though! :D

  • in the shows i ride in short stirrup is 2'3 and long stirrup is 2'6

u guys looked really good cute horse

  • aww, good job, and i just got ur username "he's a keeper" lol. thats sweet!

  • I love kjm! The trees are amazing. Do you ride there? I ride at Debonaire.

  • Yeah I ride at KJM! :D

  • really good!! really pretty horse ! wait how old is your horse he looks kinda young.

  • your heels are really down.. thats good! nice job you and the horse look very good together.

  • I thought that was really good! Great job and very cute horse!!

  • Thank you! ♥

  • You did WONDERFUL! Great job with the lead changes!

  • Thank you VERY much!!! :D

  • WONDERFUL!! that was beautiful and u handled lead changes magnifiantly somtimes those r hard wit a green horse :D

  • THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH! Yes, sometimes they are very difficult! :D

  • lol wat a gorgeous colour! congrats! do you jump him much hihger, coz hes just like what jumps? lol you two looked gud as tho! =)

  • LOL! Thanx! Yea, we jump higher at lessons and at home! It doesn't take much effort to get over those "sticks"! :D

  • ur arms keeped flaping around. u bounced up and down , wrong leads. but hey whats done is done. maybe thoeses are some things to look out for for the next show ;P

  • Ok, first of all, Diego's REALLY green. My arms weren't flapping, I wasn't bouncing around, and I was NEVER on the wrong lead. We got champion and I got 1st in my equitation, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't that bad.

  • Don't worry. Don't listen to people like that who try and be critical on your riding. When people do that I suspect they're a bunch of novices or some jerk who's feeling sorry for themselves.

  • Yea, I know! I watched some of her vids, and I'm sorry to say this, I'm not trying to be rude, but she can't ride worth shiz! She like still jumps cross bars!

  • Diego is such a cutie pie, I just want to hug him! His coat color reminds me of oreo cookies, with his light coloring and dark mane and tail. I think you did really good for a beginner, and what could help is you do flying lead changes gradually. And like I said, dressage could REALLY benefit your communication and Diego's balance.

  • LOL! Thanx!!! I would love to get him trained in dressage, but I don't really know anyone that could do it around here.

  • Your local bookstore may have a book on dressage with arena exercises in them, or you can find some related exercises off the internet. One exercise you could do are figure eights - that requires lead changes from the right to left and so on. Or, you could go gymnastic jumps which require thinking, precision, and suppleness, which would really help when you upgrade to bigger fences, then Diego could stretch over the poles.

  • Actually, I have like every book imaginable! I do figure eights and gymnastics all the time! There is one dressage book that I don't have though. I guess I'll go get that one! XD

  • Aww, you two look like you work really well together! You keep amazingly straight lines, which I'm very jealous of! Keep up the good work and keep practicing those flying changes!

  • Thanx soooooo much! = D

  • Your pony is adorable! great round, you don't ride like somebody who would be in long and short stirrup classes (in a good way). Great job, keep up the good work! Ps. You probably don't want to ask for your leads over the jumps, it will teach your pony to swing its legs to the sides over the jump (instead of keeping them square) Your doing great, the changes will come!

  • Thanx sooooo much! Yea, I probably won't ask for the changes over the jumps, because I REALLY don't want to screw him up in any way! I don't ride like a long/short stirrup rider, because I'm actually supposed to be in beginners. But since Diego doesn't have a flying change yet, I can't move up. ITS ALL HIS FALT!!! LOL!!!!!!!!! Just kidding, he can take all the time he needs, I don't want to rush him. ; ) Thanx sooooo much for your nice comment!!! = D

  • great looking horse/pony! love the colors. and nice round by the way! luved it! <33

  • Thanx!!! I have another show there tomorrow! I'll be posting vids of it some time next week. If you want to, you can check back later and watch them! = )

  • wow... like... KJM in Oklahoma?!?! Nice, consistant round too! Love your pony! =D

  • Yea, KJM in Oklahoma! Do you know it??? Thanx sooooo much for your nice comment! = )

  • Have you tried asking for the lead over the jump?

  • No, I can't say I have. I'll have to try that! = )

  • You did a nice job keeping your lines straight but just a question, how were you champion when you broke gait twice to swap leads.. just wondering. anyway remember to keep your elbows in and that will help keep your body tall. Super cute horse..

  • Thanx! In long and short stirrup classes, they don't count off for trotting courses, or doing simple lead changes. But beginner and up, they do. I'm moving up to beginners next year, and my horse doesn't know how to do flying changes yet, but we are really working on it! :)

  • Oh okay ive never done the short stirrups.. just the childrens and medals and that is a huge NO there.. keep working they will come..
