  • I used to put the 7th Guest game cd in my CD player to listen to 2:56 :P

  • @drockman92 ...change some option in your video card settings (right click on your desktop, select "graphics properties", or "display properties"). A window specific to your graphic card's brand will appear, you'll have to figure it out yourself, because each brand has a different window. Select anything that says something like "Display Fullscreen".

  • @drockman92 Yes it is, I'd say it's the best option. Basically, what you have to do is create or download the ISOs of the two CDs, place them in a folder, install and run SCUMMVM. After that, you have to tell the program where are the ISOS located, and it'll detect the game automatically. You don't have to install the game, just copy the ISOs in the same folder. It runs 100% accurately. I found some problems making it run fullscreen in Windows Vista, but you only have to...

  • Got this hoping to play it, but apparently my computer can't play these old games. Any help? I'm using windows 7

  • @drockman92

    Dosbox.

    VDM Sound.

    Compatibility mode.

  • @Suiton1 alright. I'll look into it the next opportunity I get. Thanks. Are all DOSboxes essentially the same?

  • @drockman92 I only know one Dosbox, and it's called Dosbox, lol. I like VDM more though.

You also have Microsoft's Virtual Machine, which can perfectly emulate all older machines, if you can get it to work that is, because it's not really user friendly.

  • @drockman92 use SCUMMVM, it's better.

  • @buttheadrulesagain Is SCUMMVM user-friendly?

  • Thank you for posting this. Haven't heard it since my dad threw out the CDs. I was always my most creative when listening to this stuff.

  • The words of George Alistar Sanger in regards to the song from the 7th Guest Booklet:

At first they seemed to be from the point of view of a guest coming to the home of a Stauf/Dr.Loveless/Scaramanga villian. Later, I relieased the song was from the point of view of a game player looking forward to the next generation of entertainmnet. I felt I had to share that.

  • The song features Richard Harrison on both high and low vocals, with me whispering. Robert's band cotton Mather, is very good, by the way , and not too scary. About the weird intro: I asked Matt Costello how he wanted his lyrics pronounced for "Chapel Pain," the preceding tune. What you hear is his reply, from my phone machine, played at two different speeds.

  • I love this song. What made me look it up on youtube is that I found the original 1993 game while I was cleaning out some boxes in the attic..

Got disappointed that I couldn't load it on my XP. So about this song I thought I copy from the booklet what George Alistar Sanger, The Fat Man wrote in regards to the song.

  • Did anyone actually beat the bishops puzzle? That's the only puzzle we could never solve.

  • @snowsorceress I had the same problem lol.

  • "Let's take the time to find out what's inside" it reminds me a better time when games took the time to create a COMPLETE experience for the players.

Magic times, times of "Fallout 1 and 2", "Grim Fandango", "Flashback", "Out of this world", "Day of the tentacle", "Monkey Island", "Earthworm jim", "DKC", "Chrono Trigger", "Dark Seed", "Abe's Oddysey", "MDK" and many many more!

  • OMG, they REALLY NEED 2 re-release this game...Put it on Wii or something!! Bring it to FULL 3D with the 3DS!! SOMETHING!!! I mean come on, Dragon's Lair's been ported to Wii! GET R DONE! (plz) (L_L) nod, nod...

  • great game, greater background music when playing whitewolf

  • im glad i have this game still im gonna play it again.

  • Love this track, I'm really sorry I leant this game to my cousin many years ago and never got it back.

If you've got the original PC CD's the 2nd disc could be used as an audio CD which contained all the games music in 1 long track. There's also a 1 minute audio track of this song on the Fatman's website

  • @Blademrk

Every Oct. I listen to the 2nd disc while working on my Halloween costume.

  • Great song and fantastic singer. Coolness defined. Brings back memories!

  • Still rocks even in this time period! Awesome. Bravo to The Fat Man.

  • I love this game... my uncle was the one who told me about it a while ago ( I wasn't born when this game can out.) And irs is awesome!!!

  • This SO reminds me of high school. Dang, what a blast to the past.

  • I love the 90's

  • op is fag

  • Troll

  • opened window

    saw "the game"

    FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • It only took the first few notes of this song to bring it all back...

That's it, I'm playing this game again! :-)

  • dayumn, I remember this song.. kicks my ass.

  • Holy damn, not heard this song in over ten years and I can still remember the lyrics. :D

  • One of the best examples of song lyrics being directly relevant to the game in question.

  • Never played the game, but this song is seven kinds of badass.

  • The game was a really interesting multimedia experience back in the 90s. There was a haunted house, an intro about an immigrant toy maker in the 30s, and several guests who should solve some mysteries in a haunted house. The mysteries were in form of wicked puzzles. Songs were great.

  • Dang I'm in love with this song. Miss 7th guest so much!

  • "The players form the rules" thats best line in song to me, for that feels so true to me, for real life <3

  • Sorry to bust your bubble, but that wasn't the line.

The paths divide the players from the rules

    Right there man.

  • Hey guys, NapalmKid is right. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's wrong. :)

  • you guys should check out "the black heart procession". they always reminded me of this. i'm really excited this is posted on here.

  • kool goth sound

  • You can find the soundtrack album--it's named "7-11" and listed as being by The Fat Man and Team Fat

  • Awesome. Been looking for this song forever. Thanks for posting!

  • Nice! I looked for this a few months ago and finally had a moment of "wow, something you CAN'T find on youtube!" And now here it is. Awesome. Every now and then my nostalgia for the 7th Guest comes back and it's great to find this song finally. Thank you for posting it!

  • I remember borrowing this game from my first (and only) long-term girlfriend back in high school, and then finding this song at the end. It drives me nuts that cool songs like this get overlooked by the mainstream.

  • Gee i Have been looking for this song for years after i lost my copy of the 7th Guest.

    Great to rehear 'em

  • Great song, great game!

  • again sorry to bother with asking if you know any serious midi sites i been to a few but they only have these ind instead of the actual game midis...not complaining but i would love to hear the awesome game music from the early 1990's again

    good times good times :D

  • do you have any of the actual game MIDIs by any cance cuase i cant seem to find any

    whats a good google/yahoo search

plus this is is great music

  • I only have an album containing 15 tracks, all in mp3 format, which I was miraculously able to download.

The actual game MIDIs may be obtainable from the game files, or by thoroughly searching game MIDI libraries.

  • @Suiton1 I'm not sure there actually were any MIDIs; this game was the first to use CD sound.

  • @AnonymousXIII Yes there is, I have them, 75 MIDI tracks.

  • @xannidel I love this track, I'm just sorry that I leant this game to my cousin many years ago and never got it back.

If you've got the original PC CD's the 2nd disc could be used as an audio CD which contained all the games music in 1 long track. There's also a 1 minute audio track of this song on the Fatman's website.

  • @Blademrk cheers for the reply found all the music i need ^^

  • Awesome music.
