the viola that comes in around the minute mark needs a bit of resonance on it or something so that each note blends instead of sounding like a midi ya know? Also have the piano part cut in immediately after the dramatics are over with no gap of silence.
@homicidemanex i personally think the silence makes it more dramatic. it shouldn't be like a midi. he's trying to make it sound more realistic, and passionate instead of remixing for the sake of remixing
@k7twenty2 I'd play whole FFVI soundtract at my funeral and intrumental version of Hana no sasayaki from 小公女セーラ at my wedding ;D ,,, no worries that I never get married though.
I really liked it. But personally, I think it gets too loud @ 0:43 when the flute or whatever comes in. Feels like the piano is being played from a fair distance from me but then someone sneaks up behind me and plays the flute right at my ear lol.

Your attempt is awesome and brings back a lot, but if i had this on an mp3 player i would have to crank it down so it would be lower than my screaming. haha... i just think the piano and wind should compliment each other, not overpower. Whatever though, it wont keep me from enjoying it on low volume. :) Is there anywhere i can find these for DL?
this is truly remarkable work. you kept all of the elements from the original composure. and made it in your own style.
and its a good thing. because ff6 is my all time favorite final fantasy in the series. and its the moment this song brings back that makes it worthwhile to play. thank you for composing this. its nice to see ff6 getting attention at even this far down the line.

What I meant is the Viola that comes in at likfe 0:48 Has a hard cut, so it sounds synthetic instead of realistic. It sounds like a midi as is.
