  • I think they are saying the battery life if you leave it on a midrange setting which I think is level 8. Pretty impressive either way. I can't remember where I heard that but I believe that is the case.

  • @GenXPatriots I do believe your correct. I find that in most daylight situations that setting 7 is adequate.

  • @chanderson1 Yes, I have to agree. For me, anywhere from 5-7 indoors (depending on the time of the day) and can be as high as 10 -11 when it's snowing up here in Michigan! The Aimpoint H1 really lightened up my rifle when switching from an Eotech. (typo in removed comment...)

  • Excellent sight!!... And if you use that little blue bottle as oil your gonna have a hard time with those caps and mess up the o rings! That's not oil it's locktite for the screws!!... Lol nice setup tho.

  • @slicksassault LOL, yeah I found that out that it was loctite. Just initially thought it was some kind of lube for the locking mechanism.

  • Hey Buddy, Nice review on aimpoint with larue mount. I got my daniel defense m4 v1 and planning to get aimpoint h-1 with larue lt660. More power buddy!!

  • I have the same setup but in 2moa. I'm now looking into the aim point 3x magnifier on a LaRue flip to side mount. Only problem seems to be the magnifier mounts don't line up in height. They have a short and a tall. I was told by them either would work but one woul be a little low and the other a little high. Any info? Thanks

  • @canndoable Hi, sorry I have no experience with the magnifiers and the LaRue mounts.

  • good choice. Just got the 2moa T1 from Larue.

  • hey did they send it to you mounted on the LT660 mount or did you put it together yourself?

  • @DennyDucet Yes, it was already mounted on the riser.

  • Great review man...getting one from Larue for my spikes AR too...

  • @jeschel76 Well worth the investment for sure. Love the compactness and easy operation of this little red dot. Good luck with yours!

  • @chanderson1 hows the field of view when trying to shoot multiple targets fast

  • @JUKEBOXX1990 With the T1 being so small, it virtually disappears and you have an amazing amount of field of view and battlefield awareness. Multiple target engagements are also very quick.

  • @chanderson1 that sounds great now i just need to decided on 2moa or 4moa dot..

  • It's kind of silly to try and get a sight picture with nvg's. I doubt you could even get a good cheek weld to see the dot. The peq-15 is superior in all aspects for nvg shooting at least from personal experience.

  • Awesome. i have been trying to decide what holographic sight to get and i think i'll be buying the Aimpoint Micro H1.

Nice setup by the way, thanks for this video!

  • @chagasrod Glad you took the time to watch and comment!

  • Ill be switching to this optic from my Comp M2 soon.

  • @bigbluemsp You'll love it. Much lighter and more compact than the M2. The body of the sight just disappears and the only thing you'll see is the red dot when you shoot with both eyes open.

  • what was the price difference?

  • @epicdankbud in my case, it was about $100

  • ☆☆☆☆☆

  • @chanderson1 I might just get an aimpoint great vid Hey is that a certain model of handguard rail that you have on your spikes AR ?

  • @Acefearkiller Hi, it came with the rifle. It's a spike's B.A.R. handgaurd. It comes in different lengths too.

  • Thanks for the vid. I left this video on the screen on my wife's computer... and she went ahead and ordered me the H-1 for xmas with the same mount that you have!! What a lady!! All thanks to this video that she watched while I was at work. Once I get to the range with it I'll add a video response. Thanks!

  • @TacticalCloseUp Wow, you've got a keep there! The H-1 is definetly a great choice. You'll be happy with it brother. Hope you and your family have a wonderful and blessed holiday season.

  • @chanderson1 I wish you and your family the same! Happy holidays.

  • nice, you may have talked me into buying one. i have a few larue mounts and they are quality. on a side note are you taking orders for xd mags? i love the look.

  • @multicam2000 hi, the aimpoint is one of my better choices I've made and I dont regret it one single bit. As far as the XD mads are concerened, I did it because of curiosity. I still need to further test the durability and lifespan of the coating.

  • great video well done

  • Awesome chris

  • Nice, you can't go wrong with the aimpoint!!! Great add on for your rifle

  • I dont know but if like most led flashlights, at the end of the battery life intensity drops off -- depending on how well regulated, you may be able to get just a little more life out of that battery if you are in woods and it is going dead, and you are where you cant change batteries, might can boost the output a little. I am just guessing though.

Thanks for the video. I love LaRue I want one of their full AR-15s and scope mount

  • noooooo it should have been eotech! lol nice choice:)

  • great tutorial...great set-up!

  • I'm happy to gear that you like it.

I put one on my Socom to keep the weight down and it shoots very tight groups at 100yards even with the 4moa dot; although a 2moa would be nice it'd take linfer to pick up in fast shooting so I'm not complaining. Now I have to buy another one to put back on the ACR since that's where I pillaged it from.

Happy shooting, I'm looking forward to your review of the T1.

  • Great choice!

  • great choice - i chose the same optic and really love it.

  • I'd really love to have one of those on my AK. The micro Aimpoints will co-witness with my irons on my Mak. Right now my clone has a lower 1/3 co-witness. I think I'd just love to own an Aimpoint at any rate lol.

  • I think those mounts are reversible, most people have the throw lever on the other side of the mount =p.

  • @oldannyboy37 Yes they are reversible. I'm just trying it as it came installed on the optics. As long as it doesnt get in the way with the ejection port, I think I may just keep it on that side.

  • Very nice.

  • @bisquik3006 Thanks for watching!

  • Nice choice. I have an Eotech but wish i would have gone with the aim point.

  • @MyNameIsMrSwifty I'm very happy to have chosen the T1. I think it was money well spent.

  • @NiceNineMillimeter LOL, I couldnt be more happy with the optic/mount combination. Excellent build quality and easy operation.

  • You couldn't make a better choice with the aim point and the larue mount. I love larue products I just got my holiday dillos from them today and you got to love the free stuff you get.

  • @MrOutlawDave Hey, I got the same thing today also. They seem to appreciative of their customers.

  • Awesome video. I plan on getting the T1 with Aimpoint mount soon (lines up perfect with Aimpoint 3X magnifier and mount). When I get my Tax Stamp Back for my SBR I will be doing some serious shopping!!!!

  • @fatboyR6 Keep me updated on what you get. I think if you get the T1, you'll be very satisfied. I'm thinking of getting an SBR stamp myself.

  • Great video as always!!! I'll tell you what bro, you sure make some awesome, real life, video that serves a purpose. You talk about stuff that I want to know about, stuff that is relevant, and stuff that is important! I have learned a lot about AR's and shooting in general! It is appreciated! Great sight, looks amazing on the gun!

  • @40sigsauer Hey man, that has got to be the nicest compliment I've ever had. Glad you like the videos and comments like this just make me want to do more vids. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment my friend!

  • That is nice and exactly what I want with the Larue mount.

  • @humans4targets2 Its a really great combination. I dont think you can go wrong with the two.

  • I have no fixed sight posts on any of my ARs but I still prefer the tall mount for the same reason. It gets the FOV up and over anything forward on the rails even folded front sights, lights, etc. Good choice. I figured you would choose that. The Eotech is definitely faster for close quarters but for an all around rife I do think the T1 is the best option

  • @RobbieGTV I wasn't sure if I would like the lower 1/3, but now that I see that there is less obstruction in the FOV, I'm liking it.

  • Your videos are SO great! Thanks for doing this.

I'm pricing around for a T2i, specifically cuz of your vids.

    Never go away!

  • @blondecrazygaijin Thank you very much. I do appreciate you as a subscriber and thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!

  • Very nice! I plan on a build soon, and this is the optic I'm leaning towards. Will be waiting to hear how it works out for you. Thanks for sharing.

  • @thestubby0032 Will do an update once I'm able to take it to some classes. First impression of the combination is excellent so far. Very happy with the decision.

  • That's the right choice. I run Aimpoint M2 with Laurue Cantilever mount

  • @kowa45 I'm very happy with the decision I made. Very light and functional combination.

  • I'm jelly! Good choice.

  • Best choice out there! You should be very happy with that combo with LaRue and Aimpoint you cant go wrong!

  • @keepitsimplematt I agree totally.

  • How much did you paid for this excellent choice?

  • @boyidrski Just a little over $660 shipped.

  • Good choice sir!

  • @EODtrooper Thanks! I really do like it.

  • Nice site congratulations

  • Exelent choice on the T-1, and also something good about the T-1 is the protective cap, thing that the EOTech doesn't have and having the posobility of protecting your sight from the elements makes it much more dorable.

    Cheers!!

  • @cbas0086 Yes sir, I agree that this is a great optic/mount combination.

  • Congrats on the purchase, you're going to love that T1!

  • @1AbominAble1 I'm happy with my choice. Barely no weight added to the rifle and the sight just disappears when you focus on the red dot.

  • good choice! my next dream optic is T1

  • "Swag check" - what goodies came in the Larue box?

  • @Grevlain Came with some catalogs, the dry rub, bunch of stickers and the armadillo can opener. LaRue knows how to add the little extras.

  • @chanderson1 You mean cheap shit made in China and a blend of the cheapest McCormick spices the retard can buy in bulk. Bobro and ADM make better equipment and are not ran by a neo-conservative retard who prances around the internet making an ass of himself.

  • @volucris56 You know I just visited your channel and you seem to be a polite and intelligent person. Whats up with all the anger? I know of Bobro and ADM, its just a matter of opinion on who's better.

  • Nice set up there.

  • Very nice! Maybe santa will bring me one.

  • Comment removed

  • That's not oil but blue loctite

  • @rivemor ah ok, I didnt take that close of a look at it.

  • Very nice rig...Duracote?

  • @donnya1000 Not sure what the coating is on the actual rifle. Looks similar to Duracoat though. As for the T1, I'm just keeping it black.
