@hardys4ever2000 Sounds like you're not staying at the glass long enough. A good way to judge how long to stand there is to pause in and out once and then run to the hiding spot. Also do not move at all the entire time you're standing at the glass. Hopefully this helps, if not then send me a message about it so I can respond more detailed and not restricted by the comment character limit, or better yet make a vid if you can and I'll tell you what you're doing wrong.
@hardys4ever2000 Oh and another thing that helps is to run against the wall in the hiding spot while waiting. This makes it harder for the guards to track that you have established a new location after the glass.

The point is getting MORE than 1 guard there so that one will be in the way and the 2nd will try to run to the same spot, running around the first guard and then running into the glass. Also you should try alerting all the guards in the hallway before exhaust bay. More guards = better odds.
in my opinion this should had been an easy mission like a prize for wining secret agent difficulty but instead of that the programers make this mission hard as hell even in agent i think that some normal missions like silo or water caverns are enough hard so i dont undrstand why they amke this mission even more hard i have to admitt taht i never beat this game i tried so hard but i gave up is SO MUCH DIFFICULTY
hey eddie everytime i try that trick to get the guards to open it, they already know im in the other part, is there a trick to timing it?

Definitely. Lower than 1:30 has been on TAS too (1:29 is the best I know of, and that was 00 Agent).
