Suman Kalyanpur rendered wuite well to her valuable skill. At the level of upper notes, she has a tremble in her voice; but ignorable. She is a fine sophisticated sober voice. khalid Asghar, forer Controller/ Station Director, Radio Pakistan, Lahore. And composer & singer, too.

Beautiful, just beautiful. So often SK is a dead ringer for Lataji!

@chamogaa - First impression on listening to SK is noticing the uncanny resemblance of her voice to Lata's. On repeated listening the differences emerge. SK's voice doesn't have the cloying sweetness of Lata's. She is able to express the poetry with more nuances and 'soz'. Great singer, SK. Definitely in the class of Geeta and Suraiya. Another 'sozful' female singer was Mubarak Begum. Can imagine her singing this kind of song equally well.
