Truth is, a lot of people who hate on a game more than likely just sucked at it, so they blame the game. Thats why you cant take most game comments seriously. You have to just try it yourself.
Why so many people hate this game.I have it for ps3 and I love it.The story is great and its like a free roam game with parkour moves totally recommaned it .But some Framerate problem.
it claims that you can freely choose how to engage enemies when in fact, the truth is that you HAVE to cloak otherwise you WILL die. traded this in less than two weeks after the piss poor story and multiplayer. i don't recommend this to anybody
Is this game buggy? I have 2 guns (ranged scar and OSG-1) ammo says full when I try to replentish yet they are empty and I cannot fire them. I approach a resupply case and it does not let me pick up any more ammo not does it let me pick up a different gun lying right next to it? So I apparently have full ammo and no way to shoot or pick up a gun that works.
Crysis 2 is a massive fucking dissapointing game, fun, but dissapointing if you have played the first one. though the linearity is fine with me since you have a better progression narrative, the first one was a lot less boring.
The game is fun and interesting, but I miss the good physics from crysis 1, where almost anything could be able to get destroyed by guns and bombs... on crysis 2 not even the trees suffer from any kind of damage -_-
Yeah sure, whatever you say tough guy. I do still find it a bit worrying that a Marine is arguing about consoles on a Youtube video; shouldn't you be defending your country and stand ready to do violence on our behalf? That's what I would do if I were in the army

i sold my like new 360 just so i can buy this game used for $20 on ps3. So yea i basically sold my 360 for 20 bills lol but idc. I might buy another one (maybe). It'll be the 20th 360 i've ever owned hopefully i don't sell it like i did my previous ones for ps3 games. 360 games somehow ALWAYS break/crack in the middle of the disc. Why couldn't they make 360 discs more durable they are so flimsy

I'm thinking about buying crysis 2 mostly for the multiplayer and I was wondering if anyone here has the Xbox 360 version and if the multiplayer is very much still alive. If you can answer that I would greatly appreciate that

I love this game passionately. It's so good. I can't recommend it enough. It makes you feel like a badass all the time. The cloak makes you feel like a ninja. The armor makes you feel almost unstoppable. That's the best part about this game. It lets you play how you want to play. It's also really replayable. You can play the first time through using cloak and assassinating enemies and being all stealthy. Or you can run in with your armor and super strength and start busting heads. God I love it!
Yes, I thought I was the only one! Crysis the original was awesome, mainly because I like the jungle enviornment (hence farcry was something I enjoyed as well) but the second was shit in nigga country. Crysis 2 was way too hyped, I bought it for $20 and what a waste of money that was, I have played it literally for one hour and the whole hud is distorted, using power armour is a chore and I keep resorting to being invisible because ceebs killing 40 soldiers every minute.
this game is "alright", mostly its just pretty, but it can be broken down into 2 phases, shoot enemies in a designated area to get to an objective, and cut scenes. thats about it folks. i just bought this yesterday and i was hoping for a great sand-box game, but what i got was a pretty platform shooter. pretty disappointing considering i bought it brand the collectors addition brand new and i cant take it back so i can look for crysis 1 since game stop doesn't carry part 1 any more.
@wispers187 Just a heads up, Crysis 1 is out for console :D . Only for download on XBL or PSN....Assuming you are playing on console...If not then I guess you could care less xD.
@ivegotabfmv IMO, Crysis 2 has a great 10 hour single player (despite its awful AI) but ok multiplayer while Killzone 3 has a good 6 hour single player and great multiplayer. IMO Killzone 3 was better overall. The narrative was more satisfying, the action was more fast-paced, the scale was bigger, the multiplayer is more teamwork based, has vehicles like exo suits and jetpacks, it's more balanced, and the maps are much bigger and better structured. Crysis 2 feels like CoD with superpowers...

honestly, i found the first half much more fun, it gave you a choice to how to play each area, the second half was really good but more boring compared to the part mainly fighting CELL
i dont know why people are hating this amazing game. yes it does have some bugs but nothing major that you cant play. i really like this game i have no problems with this game at all. people might say shit to me but i dont care. i enjoy playing crysis 2 more than i enjoy playing killzone 3. but ofcourse KZ3 is way better than crysis2 no doubt

@mug3nfl0w Actually more games sell on the Xbox than on the PS3, not to mention that the online is much more streamlined in the Xbox.
It really doesn't matter though, there are only a handful of games which are exclusive to the PS3/Xbox and in both cases it's not a big deal if you miss out on them.
Oh and if you really think graphical/hardware capability is an important factor, why haven't you just bought a gaming PC?

How can they fuck up a game so bad terrible A.I, awful Cloak and Armor with the energy bar system and awful controls for the console make this game unplayable for me this game tried to be both a stealth and a mindless shooter but fails both ways and I would have tried to play the game overlooking these flaws if it had a good story but the story is just boring I bought it than returned it three days later after playing it for like 8 hours and getting pissed off waste of good time and money.
This game is messed up awful A.I you decloak for 2 secs everyone knows where you are, stealth kill all guards know where you are, enemies see you but don't attack and when you are clocked they see you and attack, awful controls, lack of tactical options yeah there are 4 out of which 2 are an easy way to get yourself killed, the awful energy meter, boring story and don't even get me started on the multiplayer I just don't see what is so good about this game apart from its graphics and soundtrack.

I love this game passionately. It's so good. I can't recommend it enough. It makes you feel like a badass all the time. The cloak makes you feel like a ninja. The armor makes you feel almost unstoppable. That's the best part about this game. It lets you play how you want to play. It's also really replayable. You can play the first time through using cloak and assassinating enemies and being all stealthy. Or you can run in with your armor and super strength and start busting heads. God I love it!

Yes, I thought I was the only one! Crysis the original was awesome, mainly because I like the jungle enviornment (hence farcry was something I enjoyed as well) but the second was shit in nigga country. Crysis 2 was way too hyped, I bought it for $20 and what a waste of money that was, I have played it literally for one hour and the whole hud is distorted, using power armour is a chore and I keep resorting to being invisible because ceebs killing 40 soldiers every minute.

this game is "alright", mostly its just pretty, but it can be broken down into 2 phases, shoot enemies in a designated area to get to an objective, and cut scenes. thats about it folks. i just bought this yesterday and i was hoping for a great sand-box game, but what i got was a pretty platform shooter. pretty disappointing considering i bought it brand the collectors addition brand new and i cant take it back so i can look for crysis 1 since game stop doesn't carry part 1 any more.

@ivegotabfmv IMO, Crysis 2 has a great 10 hour single player (despite its awful AI) but ok multiplayer while Killzone 3 has a good 6 hour single player and great multiplayer. IMO Killzone 3 was better overall. The narrative was more satisfying, the action was more fast-paced, the scale was bigger, the multiplayer is more teamwork based, has vehicles like exo suits and jetpacks, it's more balanced, and the maps are much bigger and better structured. Crysis 2 feels like CoD with superpowers...

@mug3nfl0w Actually more games sell on the Xbox than on the PS3, not to mention that the online is much more streamlined in the Xbox.
It really doesn't matter though, there are only a handful of games which are exclusive to the PS3/Xbox and in both cases it's not a big deal if you miss out on them.
Oh and if you really think graphical/hardware capability is an important factor, why haven't you just bought a gaming PC?

Second, the 360 is actually the leader in sales right now, so in terms of popularity, it'd be the 360.

How can they fuck up a game so bad terrible A.I, awful Cloak and Armor with the energy bar system and awful controls for the console make this game unplayable for me this game tried to be both a stealth and a mindless shooter but fails both ways and I would have tried to play the game overlooking these flaws if it had a good story but the story is just boring I bought it than returned it three days later after playing it for like 8 hours and getting pissed off waste of good time and money.

This game is messed up awful A.I you decloak for 2 secs everyone knows where you are, stealth kill all guards know where you are, enemies see you but don't attack and when you are clocked they see you and attack, awful controls, lack of tactical options yeah there are 4 out of which 2 are an easy way to get yourself killed, the awful energy meter, boring story and don't even get me started on the multiplayer I just don't see what is so good about this game apart from its graphics and soundtrack.
