USB Loader GX

So I installed Okami using my legit Okami disc from the loader. It installed it to my external HD on the root. When I click to play the game from the USB loader interface, it just sends me back to the homebrew screen. Anybody know why?

do you need to an sd card or a harddrive to save games in usb loader gx. if you need a sd card, how many gb can u use. will a shortcut of usb loader be created when you use bootmii 8 to download homebrew channel

I have got as far as d/ling covers for my games but when I try and load on- it takes me back to the HBC screen. Any help?

@zobya97 Download WBFS manager, connect Hard Drive on computer and select the HDD on wbfs manager and click the format button.

@pattym1231 Have you set the right path for the forwarder to the target gx loader in the homebrew channel? I'll inbox u a link ;) You say the channel is there on the wii menu, --- this is just a shortcut to the GX loader which should be installed in homebrew channel.

@the1rod248 Yes u can. you just need to partition your hard drive. Tutorials can be found on ehow and instructables

hey i have the same usb loader than yours but my problem is my games images are different with names for example a mario game and the name is wii sports...

Bought a softmodded wii with 500bg verbatim hard drive but it sometimes it loads right away and some time it take 2 or even 3 times to load that it says usb loader is slow. I recently installed the wbfs manager

help when i try to start it it just makes my wii mote not connect

When i run USB Loader GX it starts up and then tells me that it cant find my HDD and it gives me a selection of two things (i dont know what they are) to try with but with both it says it gives it 30 seconds to try to find it and then it says it cant find anything and then restarts my console. PLEASE HELP! ive tried everything and this is the closest i can get :(

@GnarlyAndNaked Try plug your Hard drive in the other usb at the back of the wii. Mine only works on the top or bottom (can't remember off the top of my head). Also make sure your drive is compatible. I googled to find out which drives would work.

@RYEALLEN thank you for the help but ive tried using other usb port and it doesnt work. also no matter how hard i try i cannot seem to find a list of drives that work with it. but i just saw some guys post on a forum that he put a usb lan adapter into his wii and for some reason usb loader gx was able to find his usb hdd after that so yeah. im going to try that later in the day. if it doesnt work i will just give up.

but USB Loader GX won't read it.

I know the hub works when i opened up VbagX and played games from the HDD

do i need to install a specific cios?

Where were you able to find a White WD Hard Drive? :P I am beginning to think that this would be a lot more efficient than burning to DVD.

@MegaMacTV Nevermind, just saw the link you posted in the description. I might just get me one now. Never seen a white one before. I once wanted one for PS3 storage, but that was a real hassle. The Wii is more adaptable and user friendly to all devices. Even if used for some no-so-nice, deeds. lol

click on the link again and click Forwarders. Do as it says, remember to name the folder that has the forwarder in usbloader_gx
