Thing is is that I just don't get why people don't like Dave Coulier just because he isn't the Peter that they think he is. That's so stupid. I mean even Bill Murray himself said that he liked Dave Coulier better and he didn't like Lorenzo Music. Lorenzo overacted and tried too ahrd to be funny when really he wasn't. Peter's meant to be a funny character but he just went too far with the sarcasm, making it too obvious rather than in your face type of thing. This is just my opinion though

I like Dave's Peter so much more than Lorenzo's Peter. Lorenzo's Peter just annoyed the hell out of me. I couldn't stand him. I like Dave's Peter for many reasons:

1. He actually sounds like Bill Murray

2. He's much nicer to Slimer and treats him as part of the family and is best friends with him. Lorenzo's Peter was always so horrible and wanted to blast him for no reason.

3. He has a less annoying voice, not over exaggerated sarcasm

4. He's not self-centered

5. His character is better

To me it's weird but also interesting how the ghostbustes took a liking to Slimer in the cartoon and how Slimer liked hanging around them. In the movie Slimer looked 10 times more scarier and didn't look friendly at all or had the voice of a baby. In fact in the scene where Peter screams when he sees Slimer and Slimer flys towards him I thought Slimer was going to bite Peter's head off or kill him.
