Odie is so adorable. He looks just like my Cockatiel, Buford. I know he loves me because he gets all excited to see me when I get home from work. He'll even give me light kisses on the face. However, when I try to pet him the way you do, he hisses and tries to bite me. Any suggestions?
i need help and advice. i just go a cockatiel today. i am really have a hard time handling him. he keeps biting me when i try to be nice to him and he always wanting to get away from me. i dont even know if should clip his wings or not. please help me, thanks! :)
o.o well, depends how much yellow is on its head,if there's alot of yellow on his head, that means its a male...if its just a little bit of yellow with gray surronding it its a female..but you need to wait till the bird has had its first "molting procces" it happens every 6 months for cockatiels :3 Hope this info helps
thanks cause i have two cockatiels one with yello and one with grey and yello.. we got mixed up... lol that the yello one was a boy and grey one with yello was a boy...
Nice 'tiel! We used to have one here but he died about 18 months ago :(. He got sick and about a day later died...Ours didnt like to be pet that much but if we put him on our hand or put our face up to him he really enjoyed that! I miss my little guy. We have a cockaTOO now, but our 'tiel was still more adorable lol
I wish my 4 cockatiels were that nice lol..we have 3 males and one female. one of the males is around 18 years of age and he will giveme kisses but we cant touch him or he will bite like the other 3

Wings are not clipped just a very tame hand reared cockatiel, Loves nothing more than a good head rub!

my tiel is very attracted to everybody in my family (except my sister) lol. but shes very fond of my dad...probably because shes a girl lol
