Actually there is one scene. I think it's the area before you get the hovercraft where you see a guy behind a fence getting jumped by a headcrab: /watch?v=90Fi8MSBAGg

You don't actually see him getting turned. He just stays on the ground, slightly moving his mouth, while the headcrab gnaws on his brains. When i moved away from him and came back after 1 minute he was nowhere to be seen again. This scene doesn't tell us how fast u turn but it shows us you're done for pretty fast :)

These series is great!! It gives the actual feeling of fighting for your life in City 17. I just have one complaint, the direction of each scene feels a little random, and there's a lot of little things left out(like how did the two pairs meet.)  These are only small complaints, the overall film is great!

Here's a thought - how would you do a Hunter? Would have to be some awesome CG work to make them convincing. Fighting those things was the first time the HL2 franchise made me utterly shit myself, so I'm kinda impressed.

It is GREAT, the work is amazing. Storywise - or use of the time - have to say I found it a little overbaked. There is tradgedy in the HL2 story yes (but its just a game, it aint real, even if its analogous to the real world) - but after part 1 I have to say I was hungry for ACTION! But thats the hardest thing to film so I can understand. Tech note: Your cityscapes are breathtaking and completely believable!

Suddenly I realize how weird it is in the game that in what appears to be an ex soviet occupied East-European city, everybody spoke perfect English. Well, I guess father Grigori may have had an accent at least.

Anyway, the movie is an awesome accomplishment with a shoestring budget. You could slap four zeros behind that number and chances are Hollywood wouldn't come up with something better.
