I've never heard the eighth wonder version before and this early 1985 song is extermely dated. but Gabrielle Bennet's version is better.

Yes, this is one of the videos that ran at the end after the animated part of the show.

Really wish this show would come out on DVD, but the licensing for the songs would probably be a mess.

Never knew that all the Kidd Video MV's are all based on songs that came and went. And it was a big surprise to hear that Gabrielle was not a singer or even a drummer but she sure fooled me when I was little. Man Gabrielle is one spicey mama!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Gaberielle Bennet is really singing, not lip syching. She was playing fake drums though because she couldn't play any insterments.

I'm one of the few who likes this version over the Eighth Wonder version. Though Patsy is prettier than Gabrielle (though she's still hot) this version seems more poppy and synth than the other which is sort of down beat sounding. In some cases, like this one, Synth pop beats downbeat.

This song makes me think that '80's music is in fact a lot like '50's music, the main difference being that '80's music is "jazzier" and "dancier" and a bit more musically complex.

I think you are rigth but remember this version is elder than the one you're refering to, at least 1 year cus Eight Wonder played it like in 87 and the series ended in 86 :)

WOW one year after somone replyed I find it hard to beieve all that has happened since I posted thos coments,so I feel obligated to reply. Now I admit it until 3 minutes ago I didn't knew who Bernie Taupin is. But all of a suden I find that acording to the encyclopedia, Turpin is a lyricisist responsable for about 600 lyrics for artists such as Elthon John and Alice Cooper among others.Turpin also made the lyrics of

'When the phone stops ringing' wich I asume is this song.
