Our God is and awesome God. My brother has something where he doesn't get a lot of potassium, which is vital for survival. And the liquid potassium that he's been taking hasn't been working. He had to take a blood test to see his potassium level, and walking in there, my mom prayed to God to fill him with potassium. Test results: 4.8.YEAH!!!!! Thank you God!

Furthermore, natural and supernatural are terms devised by humans to explain things we encounter and understand. Anything we do not understand gets categorized as supernatural and extraterrestrial, but this doesn't mean they are not truly natural, just that we don't understand them as such. God could be the most natural being in the universe, we just don't know it in terms we can cope with.

Although going to church IS important, it does not save you. What saves a person is believing in God and the Gospel of Christ. There is nothing political about being a Christian. to aammcc1234..God gave us all free will .Adam and Eve brought sin into the world by going against Gods instruction and partaking of the forbiddon fruit. Thus sin was introduced into the world. Mankind is responsible for sufferring not God. I will also say that there are not "a few" gods. There are a lot of man made gods but only one true God, the God of the Bible. If you take religion by religion there is an aspect of Christianity that sticks out from the rest and is not in any other religion. And that is that Christ is alive today and can live in your heart. Because of sin, we live separate from God but by accepting Christ as our Savior we can live with Him again. Our "good" works mean nothing without us accepting Christs gift.

I love this song! You know, my only problem with Christians (I am one!), is the ones who are a little "too saved". Christianity should be accepting of everyone, like a family. But so many Christians become rude and closed minded, and are very intolerant of other religions and beliefs (Atheists, Muslims, anything..). If we all took a step back, we'd realize what we all want, is the so similar...Our God is awesome. He's proved to me that miracles are real. Open minds mean open hearts.
you had a typo , Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins, Jesus didn't save our sins., He saved us from dying and going to that awful place called hell.
Concerning the idea of Hell (because you just KNOW someone is going to bring it up eventually):
Hell is rarely talked about in the Bible, and I would agree that it has become an over-used word in the Christian vocabulary (even though Jesus himself rarely mentions it). However, whether those that go there are there for eternity or not, Hell exists for a simple reason. It's like if we had laws, but no means to enforce them (no trials, police, or prisons). Concerning Aammcc's question.... it is the God of Israel who is real and is the only one we should serve. God is a God who exists spiritually, He is not a statue like we see in Buddhist, Hindu and pagan religions.

Surely anybody could have written a book 2000/3000 years ago and passed it off as real. People still believe things today as long as theyr'e written down. @aammcc1234 Not by works are we saved, but by grace. We cannot save ourselves. Every one of our sins, even a white lie, is a rejection of God, and therefore deserving of death. However, Christs love covers the sin of those who believe and live for Him. Because of Him, the perfect one, we can stand.
An identical life but no belief in God is referenced in the Bible as having a form of godliness but no power. The big difference is knowing that you are a sinner, regardless of your good works (when I say "you", I mean anyone - me included) and you know that good works cannot save you. You realize that you need God - that you need to accept the death of His son on the cross - in order to be saved from eternal death. Your question actually needs more than is allowed to type here.
So I will do this one more post and be done - because you can't write a book on here! :) All the horrors of this world - they are all due to the original sin in Eden. God doesn't MAKE us follow Him. So our own sins, and the sins of others affect us. But it won't last forever. What happens in this world saddens the Lord greatly. But He gives us free choice. Many choose not to follow God and choose to do wrong things that affect us all. We can only hold onto Him in hard times.

The dominion of the earth was handed over to Satan who is the tempter and snake that deceived the woman Eve.
I'm not going to give a long explaination, but in Isaiah it says all of our righteous acts are as filthy rags before God. Similar to the works without Faith kinda deal. If you do works without Faith, there's no profit, but if you have Faith and no works, it is also worthless.

ok i am not trying to be rude (and yes i am a Christian) but being a Christian is not about formalities. It's about genuinely seeking God no matter where you are and what you are doing. Although going to church IS important, it does not save you. What saves a person is believing in God and the Gospel of Christ. There is nothing political about being a Christian. When a person does God's will to the fullest, that is what being a Christian is about! Have a good day and God BLess :)

I will also say that there are not "a few" gods. There are a lot of man made gods but only one true God, the God of the Bible. If you take religion by religion there is an aspect of Christianity that sticks out from the rest and is not in any other religion. And that is that Christ is alive today and can live in your heart. Because of sin, we live separate from God but by accepting Christ as our Savior we can live with Him again. Our "good" works mean nothing without us accepting Christs gift.

God didnt create the earth the way it is. in the beggining, when he created it,
it was perfect. people sinned by doing what God specificly told them not to do.
So he sent them away from paradise (garden of edin) Sin was "born" through
disobedience. And as a result, suffering and pain stepped in, and since God is not only good, but just as well, He lets it happen, but I dont think He likes it

If I can just say something to non-beilivers. Read the bible, and your questions that are constantly being asked WILL be answered. But read properly. Its really difficult to understand at first, so its good to really read and have someone explain. Serisously, it answers all questions! :)

I love this song! You know, my only problem with Christians (I am one!), is the ones who are a little "too saved". Christianity should be accepting of everyone, like a family. But so many Christians become rude and closed minded, and are very intolerant of other religions and beliefs (Atheists, Muslims, anything..). If we all took a step back, we'd realize what we all want, is the so similar...Our God is awesome. He's proved to me that miracles are real. Open minds mean open hearts.

Concerning the idea of Hell (because you just KNOW someone is going to bring it up eventually):
Hell is rarely talked about in the Bible, and I would agree that it has become an over-used word in the Christian vocabulary (even though Jesus himself rarely mentions it). However, whether those that go there are there for eternity or not, Hell exists for a simple reason. It's like if we had laws, but no means to enforce them (no trials, police, or prisons). Would you still abide by the law?

Concerning Aammcc's question.... it is the God of Israel who is real and is the only one we should serve. God is a God who exists spiritually, He is not a statue like we see in Buddhist, Hindu and pagan religions.
As for Jesus, the proof is in Josephus' works and in the Bible that He existed. Jesus was the God Man and was the Son of the Living God. As Christians however, we are the adopted sons of God.( see: Galatians 4)
God is alive and Jesus is Him in the flesh. ( See:John 1:1-5)

Surely anybody could have written a book 2000/3000 years ago and passed it off as real. People still believe things today as long as theyr'e written down. Look at papers like The Sun for instance, its only recently people have become aware of how untrustworthy it's infromation can be. I honestly can't call the Bible proof.

So what happens to me if I live an almost identicle life to someone who does believe in God but I choose not to believe it myself? This being of 'pure good' is going to banish me to hell? Please explain to me why somebody of pure good created a world where so many arocities and so much suffering is possible. Also, exactly which God do I believe in? As far as I am aware, taking into account many poeples beliefs, theres a few.

@aammcc1234 Not by works are we saved, but by grace. We cannot save ourselves. Every one of our sins, even a white lie, is a rejection of God, and therefore deserving of death. However, Christs love covers the sin of those who believe and live for Him. Because of Him, the perfect one, we can stand.

An identical life but no belief in God is referenced in the Bible as having a form of godliness but no power. The big difference is knowing that you are a sinner, regardless of your good works (when I say "you", I mean anyone - me included) and you know that good works cannot save you. You realize that you need God - that you need to accept the death of His son on the cross - in order to be saved from eternal death. Your question actually needs more than is allowed to type here.

So I will do this one more post and be done - because you can't write a book on here! :) All the horrors of this world - they are all due to the original sin in Eden. God doesn't MAKE us follow Him. So our own sins, and the sins of others affect us. But it won't last forever. What happens in this world saddens the Lord greatly. But He gives us free choice. Many choose not to follow God and choose to do wrong things that affect us all. We can only hold onto Him in hard times.

@aammcc1234 The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. It also says that looking at a man or a woman is lust, and lust in the eyes of God is adultery. One lie, even a white lie, is a sin. We all need to be saved and the only way to be saved is to know that God sent his Son to earth to die for our sins. He is the one and only sacrificial Lamb, so believing in Him, is the only way to be "clean" in the eyes of the Creator of the Universe

@aammcc1234 God does not banish anyone to Hell. Everyone banishes themselves to Hell. God did not create a world with atrocities; He created a perfect world, but the atrocities were introduced through original sin (Adam & Eve). Thus the ground was cursed. People would not have the chance to be reconciled to God after that, because the penalty for sin is death, but Jesus, the only One to walk the Earth and be sinless, paid our debt, which He did not owe

@aammcc1234 You ask why a non believer goes to hell even though he tries to do good? The answer is, no sin will enter the kingdom of Heaven. Unlike Jesus, our selfish nature keeps us from living a sinless life, no matter how hard we try. So, we must have a Savior (Jesus) to be our intercessor to the Father. He alone has the Power to take our sins from us, and give us His Spirit and the true desire to live by God Commandments and to honestly try to never willfully sin again.

@aammcc1234 the world we live in today is not the one God envisioned. God gave dominion of the earth to man in the beginning in the garden of eden. People who who use the argument of suffering in the world don't know this first thing i said. It is because of man's actions in the garden, turning away from God and choosing instead to attempt to be God is what caused the earth we see today. The dominion of the earth was handed over to Satan who is the tempter and snake that deceived the woman Eve.

I'm not going to give a long explaination, but in Isaiah it says all of our righteous acts are as filthy rags before God. Similar to the works without Faith kinda deal. If you do works without Faith, there's no profit, but if you have Faith and no works, it is also worthless.

For all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Jesus took the punishment for for my failures that i would be forgiven. If you really live the way you say you do then you do well. So why not belive in the God who loves you and came to do earth to be handed over to be mocked, flogged, and crucified for you.

Nothing we do in this life is going to get us into Heaven the only way is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. But the thing is you can choose not to believe in Christ and God, God doesn't take away your free will but He will still let you go to hell that is YOUR choice not His. did you know that rich mullins did not believe in a pre trib rapture and was catholic in his beliefs? one of his best friends was a priest from the wichita diocese. In fact no one in church history preached a pre trib rapture until after the 16th century. a new and invented doctrine. peace david:)
