I didn't know anything about this recording. What a nice surprise! It goes directly to my favorites list. What a fantastic voice she has, spectacular. I love the way she sings, giving always something special and personal. All she sings is always plenty of feeling and emotion. What an artist!

Perfect for this piece (the voice is). Happily, she stayed away from glottal attacks and scooping, hitting the notes dead on. I suppose the conductor had some influence over this, Thank G-d, because it's a great reading of this piece and as good as anyone has ever sung it and I include Nilsson, Caballe in this group (whose performances I love).

This is such an amazing performance. Alessandra Marc is still the greatest soprano in the world and her voice is uniquely beautiful. I pray that conductors will get their acts together and engage Ms. Marc - her talent and artistry is friggin' awesome!!!!
