  • i learned everything from this video i am ready.

  • This form is practiced in the most beautifully exquisite style of kung fu i have ever seen, the alignment of the practitioners bones, the postion of the elbow, the balance of the torso and legs in relation to the spine and the position of the feet. How the energy can be drawn up from feet to shoulder to elbow to wrist to hand is amazing. And it's like meditation to practice, you finish training so calm like you have been doing meditation.

  • Very similar to the one I've learned. I like it

  • 0 ludzi ssie kutasa

  • music kicks ass as much as the style

  • it looks so easy and to copy but when i actually went to learn in WSL lineage i was doing the most important things in SLT WRONG and it is so much harder than it looks. PRACTICE, PRACTICE,PRACTICE

  • @redroze1000 haahah... so true! the same for me, thought it was a piece of cake until I started following my sifu :p practice does help.

  • Love these videos.

  • This video is the best reference for beginners trying to memorize it, good stuff.

  • Thank you to the uploader!

Best Siu Lim Tao on Youtube for sure.

Thank you Sifu Wong for your teachings and gifts to the world of Wing Chun.

  • According to family tree, he is my grandfather.

Believe it or not, he was the best fighter of Wing Chun history, even better than Bruce.

Yes, he is disciple of Yip Man and a friend of Bruce Lee, but also his teacher.

WSL was assisting Yip Man with teaching, and Bruce Lee was one of their students. Lee once wrote in a letter to Wong, "Even though I am (technically) a student of Yip Man, in reality I learned my Kung-fu from you."

He was a true legend. Rest In Peace Grand Master...

  • @ahbeabi Your grandfather???

  • @ahbeabi YOUR GRANDFATHER? O, MY GOD, SUCH AN HONOUR!

  • Ours is similar, Duncan Leung is the Sifu of my Sifu and our Siu Lim Tao is similar to this one displayed here. Im only a novice though, and dont know much. Wing Chun has caught my eye more than any other Martial art. I am glad ive decided to pratice the art.

  • collective chi, move the world, the art of fighting without fighting. ask your self have you got something to prove

  • funny the fake sounds added hehe

  • can you post the whole thing please? would really appreciate it

  • I REALLY appreciate the post. I'm studying Wing Chun while deployed and don't have my Sifu to break the movements down. THIS was crisp, yet slow enough to show each individual move unlike some of the other videos. And, as best I can tell, this form is exactly like the one my Sifu demonstrated before I left.... That, and there aren't any additional, unnecessary flashy moves added to the sequence.

    Great Post. Thank you.

  • Great Siu Lim Tau.

  • Who is that in the video? That is one of the best siu lim tau on youtube

  • thats wong shun leong... disciple of yip man and a friend of bruce lee.

  • Okay. He changed a little bit of the form after he learnt it from yip man right?

  • yep he changed it a little... Some of his disciples have modified it slightly according to their own interpretation.

  • @erwinsoo2 And also the real Wing Chun master who has put his Wing Chun to use through 'Beimo' during the heydays on rooftops in Hong Kong. NO Gloves and NO Rules.

  • @super1commenter: That my friend is the Legend Wong Shun Leong, this man gave Bruce Lee a black eye. He was Yip man's most senior student, which is why Yip asked Wong to teach Bruce lee after other students found out Bruce's heritage wasn't pure Chinese. Yip decided he couldn't publicly teach Bruce.

Wong never lost in over a hundred challenge matches. His Wing Chun lineage is in my opinion the Best. If you want to learn the best Wing chun, find someone who trained directly with Wong.

  • @Cosmic582 Thanks. But according to my understanding, Wong Shun Leung taught Bruce Lee because he is a senior, which is a common practice in Chinese martial arts. The grandmaster hardly teaches the late disciples and only tells the seniors to teach them even though the late disciples still call the grandmaster sifu and the seniors sihing. Yip Man, however, will never not teach Bruce Lee just because he was part German.

  • aint it siu nim tau?

  • Its the english pronounciation of a cantonese word. Yale Cantonese : siu2 nim6 tau4: a small idea or small imagination. Should be ok either way depending on how strict you are with the original pronounciation.

  • takes me back, nice vid!
