  • Did they live

  • Mine died because of too much algae

  • ALGAE DOESNT GIVE OFF OXYGEN AS IT USES OXYGEN TO GROW

  • @TheShadowfexx

    incorrect...

  • @TheShadowfexx Actually it gives AND takes oxygen, Night uses oxygen, day produces it, being in water it will produce more then it takes thus is good for them.

  • so mean

  • clean the cage

  • Imagine if they evolve and grow wings and start flying.

  • algae

  • lol i had sea monkeys for likee..... 1 or 2 years. they are cheap, and cute little pets. i love how they do flips in the water its so funny. well yea, i grew algae in their tank, but then they started dieing and it couldnt be cleaned because they are so tiny. RIP sea monkeys :( getting more for christmas i hope :D

  • Naa they don't love it's it's just that they have a lazzy ass owner dumbass bitch lol

  • poor monkeyss...

  • hi i got sea monkeys for my sons christmas present. you can clean them out but a little at a time. i am getting my nephews some this year. you have to be very patient and they will last for a couple of years

  • Can you wash it out?

  • way to much algey girl!. U sould've put it in your rooms lamp. I did that and it had a perfect amount of algae

  • how exactly do u grow the algae ive tried like 4 times and fail lol

  • @chahalele I put the Sea Monkeys on my windowsill because I read that they really like sunlight. They did really enjoy getting the sun, but it caused the over-growth of the algae. They like algae, but I think way too much grew.

  • @chahalele you dont grow algae if you just dont change the water for a long time then algae will start to grow in your tank but i think that you can buy little algae pellets for fish maybe that will help?

  • @chahalele and it helps if you put the tank in the window

  • @chahalele put a very small amount of fertiliser into the water and watch it bloom (:

  • my mom killed mine when their tank got this dirty(she cleaned it later that day i found out alge is there favorite food)i was so sad :'(

  • Poor creatures, i dont know how you could have let it happen :/

  • @sebassuarez93 Accually, on the sea Monkey website, it says algae is accualy good for sea monkeys. They can eat it. The Algae also provides oxygen for them. so this young lady is doing a very good job of caring for her sea monkeys.

  • @megumi459 It also depletes oxygen at night since there's no sun light.

  • @Asianleful put a light on them at night?

  • @astrialkil Lighting all through day and night= excessive algae and not enough carbon dioxide for the algae to use, which means they die off. Which means there will be ammonia in the water because the brine shrimp need oxygen and they're not getting it and they die. Therefore, no.

  • RITE NOW MY SEA MONKEYS ARE HATCHING IN FRONT OF ME!! I AM SEE ING THEM SWIM ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! :D

  • @TheShelbyrocks i saw mine hatch then my bro ate them >:O

  • I had sea monkeys once, there is only one left and it's also pregnant! but it died weeks later, their tank smelled like crap!

  • that just looks digusting.

  • They Can Die By Eating That Stuff

  • @xXMaxLevelXx no... they love algae dont comment false information.... algae is their favorite food (The official sea monkey site says)

  • @xXMaxLevelXx Um, no. Algae is healthy for them. It gives them oxygen and they think it's yummy. The seamonkey website said so.

  • He dont have seamonkeys no more he's a algea grower

  • You should REALLY clean their tank. Do you have to clean therir tank? If you do, how many times?

  • @ILikeDoggies7351 You dont have to clean their tank. They LOVE algae.

  • uuuhhhhhh!!! that algae is formed because of the over-feeding and you should also know that they dont have to stay in the sun...at the window...algae love sun=> much algae from the sun light....

  • @bianca97woh -_-"

  • you put waaay too much algay in there.

  • You are killing them

  • @delta28770 Once again, no, she's not killing them. Algae is healthy for them. It gives them oxygen and they think it's yummy. The seamonkey website said so.

  • Most of that cloud-y-ness is caused by overfeeding. You should stop feeding until the water becomes clear again. Over feeding can result in bad bacterial growth as well as a tank low in oxygen.
