  • that was brave and amazing.

  • Congratulations , what a wonderful people you are !!!

People like you makes the whole world better , never giv up

    Brazil :))

  • Did anyone else watch this video to the end? You realize these people had a 3 year old KID on the boat? The whale was bigger than the boat, trapped, hurt and these idiots had the "selfless" gall to park a boat on top of it (to help it, I get that) with a CHILD ON BOARD.

That kid was put into a severely unnecessary risk.

It's like walking up to a bear caught in a bear trap to help it with your kid in one of those carrying backpacks. 99% of the time your kid isn't going home in one piece.

  • @kwixish And they all lived happily ever after....

  • @kwixish Shut up

  • helping whales (or any other sea creatures) break from these nets represent so much more than freedom for the whales and makes you question the regulations and lack of accountability on the industry of fishing/crabbing. this video is beautiful and shows the connection that we all have as living things but in the back of my mind I know this story is a reality for all ocean creatures and most don't have an opportunity to be rescued like this.

  • wonderful

  • impressive..thanks for sharing this..unforgettable experience..!

  • what an amazing video. you can tell that whale is clearly overjoyed to be free and very thankful to you for saving her. thank god for people like you.

  • impresionante, y bastante hermosa la forma de agradecer que tiene..

    Greetings from Brazil!

  • Inacreditável!!!! Exemplo a todos !!!!

  • MARAVILHOSO!!!!

  • btw, WTF is wrong with people??? i hope the owner of that net ends up in the same situation. or better yet, send HIM to st louis.....

  • @jeffsbored13 41? NO WAY! More like 14! SMOKE CHOKE CROAK you idiot teen!!!

  • @NurseyNancy troll.... your the one whos 14, hun. why are you following me. must be some 400# shut in, or else some bored 7th grader in special ed with nothing to do....

  • @jeffsbored13 < ~~ It's YOU'RE, son. Better pay attention in spelling class and take note that SMOKING KILLS YOU AND THOSE AROUND YOU!

  • @NurseyNancy how exactly does smoking weed kill anyone around me? be specific- your a nurse. or are you just another troll who thinks everyone should do what everyone else thinks they should. there's already a country for folks like you, its called north korea. or even cuba. see, america is a republic, which means people can do whatever they want as long as it doesn't hurt others, like throwing nets in the ocean. see, folks can even smoke in bars cuz its YOUR choice to go in. itz a REPUBLIC. duh

  • thank u thank u thank u. dude, ive been pretty down on people lately, these guys give me hope. just lucky no jap whalers were in the area.... thanks again. you guys ever come to st louis, ( wouldn't recommend it ) ill burn one with ya....

  • Why isn't this film getting 280,000,000 hits??!

  • So heart warming to see her free! THANK YOU FROM WISCONSIN!!

  • Simply beautiful ...

  • WELL DONE FELLOWS

  • Hmmm, negative comments to this!!?,how strange .This isn't just about how a bunch of good hearted people saved a whale but also about an animal communicating back to them.If we had more people on this planet doing something small to save some kind of animal around the world, then we'd actually get some where."The world is too dangerous to live in.Not because of people who do evil, but because of the people who sit and let it happen." Albert Einstein

  • Best rescue ever! Thank you! Fishermen, stop dumping your nets in the sea. Pick up your trash!

  • <3

  • more of this in the world.!!!!! how could anyone kill these beautiful creatures?

  • Absolutely amazing... you guys rock !!! I was so moved by it and excited. Thank you for saving that whale.

  • OUTSTANDING WORK!

  • This is one of the most beautiful videos on youtube. Loving all life and taking care of one another is what it is all about.

  • This was so cool. I'm not afraid of much in this world these days... but getting next to a whale in the water may freak me out a bit. Even the guy in the video said he was bit freaked out by it all. Great job on freeing the whale. (And who's the idiot who left the netting in the water)?

  • Good thing God was there to rescue it.

  • @ButeoLineatus god had nothing to do with it

  • @wartactics says you

  • @gurucarcar so god gives a crap that that whale gets saved but dozens of other whales wash up onto shores every week and those don't count, makes a lot of sense.

  • @wartactics who comes to that conclusion that it was god? weird. it was people, caring people. the earth is not a machine with a god above that saves you. we can make this earth a paradise.. but most choose to go on business as usual. great job folks! protect our wildlife and oceans!

  • @futuristfood i didn't make that conclusion, buteo did, I told him god had nothing to do with it. The only that made it happen was what you said, a caring family.

  • @wartactics God rescued that whale and I can prove it. God is everywhere and in everyone. He is responsible for everything good and nothing bad. Because god is in that man, god saved the whale. God save the queen!

  • @ButeoLineatus fuck you and your god

  • @wartactics - you're just another wannabe atneist who bl;ames God for all the ills of the world..........God is perfect.NATURE isn't!!!!!!

  • @ButeoLineatus no. it wasn't god. why even say that?

  • Fabulous video and fabulous effort.

  • oh my gosh, tears at the end! I live in Baja (San Juanico) and used to live on Bahia Concepcion and had the occasion to go whale watching and stroked the side of a humpback: one of the most unexpectedly emotional times in my life. Amazing whales and anybody who says differently just hasn't ... well... gotten it yet.

  • awesome we need more good deeds in this life peace and gbu all that helped save that whale

  • What a great story! thanks for sharing!

  • So good to see a story with such a awesome happy ending!

  • Positively wonderful! There are no coincidences.....the right people came to the whale's rescue. Such a great thing for a child to see also!! Thanks for sharing this with the world!

  • Amazing! Bravo to you all. ps. who is the moron who dislikes this?

  • hehe man bikini

  • its bad there is even one dislike!

  • That was most definitely a show if pure joy :)

  • thanks for the video...it validated how i feel the hoorrid the sneaky snakie japs are at killing such awesome life..when the quake hit...i was sorry for the loss of any good life..but thrilled at the hope that many whales would be saved from a painfull death...much praise and thanks to Bob Parker for donating 10 million for a ship to disrupt the jap whale hunts.

  • I saw this in the newspaper of this rescue and it shocked me from the pictures of this poor Humpback whale got trapped in the net. When I continued reading it, it said that there is a video clip on here.

Now I have watched it, at first it was upsetting and afterwards it was cheerful that the whale was set free.

I would like to say that the family has done incredible job to saved this whale and God would be pleased they have done the right thing.

  • What a wonderful story...warmed my heart it did...

  • :)

  • It is wonderful to see such a rescue but also a great pity that it was required. Where did the unfortunate whale find this abandoned fishing net, who left it unattended? There must be many more cases of whales and dolphins and turtles being killed by discarded fishing nets. It's bad enough that we humans take more than our share of fish from the ocean, much worse to accidentally end other lives with no benefit.

  • Mark Levine talked about this wonderful rescue on his radio show. What a great story and my highest kudos to the rescuers!

  • Wow what an unbelievably wonderful story! Good for them!! Everyone can take a lesson from this and learn that we all have to do our part to help preserve and save the environment!

  • That was an amazing and beautiful story that brought tears to my eyes!!!

  • That must have been an awesome thing to experience and then be able to say, "We saved a great whale!". I want to save a whale too. Awesome vid and thanks for saving the whale! :)

  • such a lovely story very moving ;0)

  • I was incredibly moved by this footage.

I couldn't contain the tears from rolling down my face.

Incredible - well done and thank you so much for sharing your experience with the rest of us.

There is some good in the world after all.

    Magnificent.

    Jxx
