I don't know why I like this so much. Sure, I like the message and all. But, more than that, I find it inspirational that Hoots helps Jimmy when he doesn't know him, and he's never going to see him again. The two of them don't even know each other's names, but 'Bunky's' song managed to Help 'Bucky' see his situation in a better light. Makes me smile.
It was '93, less than three years after Jim Henson's death. Nostalgics new that Sesame Street would never be the same, and many decided not to show the new episodes to their kids...good ol' Hoots is tellin' us not to be afraid of the changes, because a new generation will have fond memories of their own.
Fast forward to the present "Elmo's World" era-as long as they keep good ol' Hoots around, I can feel a bit better!
I have a terrible fear of change. I'm comfortable with things as they are now, and facing the unknown terrifies me. This song is just what I need to hear.
You always pick the best Sesame vids for certain days, Marshal, & I like that about you. We should be friends. & I'd like to make my YouTube New Year's Resolutions on this vid: I'l try to be less critical, comment less & make some a the best dang Pooh's Adventures Of movies I've ever done! (not to mention the first)
2010 is coming and yes there is a lot of changes we can make in our resoultion. For insitance, you can lose weight and be sexier in the summer or being the new you.

Sometimes this song helps me and sometimes not. Mostly I only like changes when to me they are very good.
