  • For those of you complaining about the girls, VIDEO WAS MADE FOR MEN TO ENJOY. STOP!Go and buy the Audio ONLY CD. Men just love it this way!

At 1:10"Onye ga eri awo,ya rikwee nke Chi buru ebu"Means"if you want to do anything illegitimate(implicitly Sex) make sure the man/lady is goodlooking".I agree, theGIRLS were NOT sober (were intoxicated with alcohol).Great timeless Music! From Ezeokoli Eric Okwu(of Aguata),CA,USA

  • Wow, i really love this song... Please can anyone expain the meaning of this song to me? thanks

  • There's nothing obscene about this video, whats the problem with it? I love it

  • The dance could have been better choreographed, the girls could have shown more enthusiasm, and quite frankly, the outfit did not flatter these girls imo ; otherwise, the music?, well it's TIMELESS!!!.

  • May not be suitable for kids?!! There is nothing obscene about the video :I

  • All I watch in this song is the mesmerizing, tantalizing and sexy dancing steps and moves of the girls. Ya Kpotuba!

  • Oriental brothers, i love all you guys songs.

  • I'm from Spain, my woman is from Edo State... and the Oriental Brothers rule!! I like Fabomo and so many others, but I love them, really, this song is sooo great; probably, my favourite one.

"Chi" is God, so I guess because of the other comment that "Anam ele" is something like "I leave my things", isn't it? Anyway, the joy of the song speaks by itself.

    Thanks for posting!

  • Good music, Good people, Good times

  • what a beautiful song to listen to! state of the art music! will you post more of these heartwarming music? thank you very much, codewit!

  • Now this one got me. I was told the meaning is "We ONLY look unto God." In other words, "If you eat a Toad, you better eat the real good one so when called "A toad-eater" you emphaticallyly answer yes, I am a Toad eater" How true this relates to us today. Another Classic by Sir Worrior. Thanks for Sharing Codewit.

  • where can i get this song? someone tell me pleeaassseee

  • Hi Geligurl, U can get it but it depends on where u are. if u r in london i do not know what to tell u but if u r in USA u can get them without stress.

  • Yea i am.

  • men this is my girls no one fuck with my igbo girl

  • Tears of joy always appear of my eyes when I listen to the instrumental music of the present. I am of one more a younger generation but the music that esteem deeply

  • Lágrimas de alegría siempre brotan de mis ojos cuando escucho la música instrumental de la presente. Soy de una generación más joven pero la música que aprecio profundamente.

  • POwerful tune! Takes me back to the 70s! Life i seem to believe was nicer n people were nicer back then!

If i could turn the hand of the clock!

  • The dancing in the Nwanne Awu Enyi (Pt 1) vid is more close to igbo culture!

  • Tears of joy always spring from my eyes whenever I hear the instrumentals to this music. I'm from a younger generation yet I appreciate the music deeply.

  • nice song

  • For all yu wankers critisizing this guy, yu are all nob heads. THIS IS THA TUNE BRUV!!!

  • for the people condeming the womens way of dance (the women shaking their behind), i would like to say that it is an igbo traditional way to dance. when i was a kid back in igbo land all females danced like this, from my grandmother to my to my cousins. it is first and fore most traditional not sexual.

  • Anyone who condemns the beautiful dance of these women are speaking an abomination!!!

  • Comment removed

  • man, i made that comment 11 months ago and get a reply now. a bit strange.

BTW, i cant say exactly when the dance started but i can say that this is a traditional dance in owerri, igbo land (where my fam. is originally from) called alija ( not sure about the spelling). not sure about this either, but isnt the oriental brothers from owerri too.

  • hmmmmmm! whr ur familys from !!! n ur from?

  • This is a classic. I am not Igbo -- but this song is RUGGED! I like it. It makes you want to dance. But what are the lyrics saying?

  • He is saying he is looking up to God...in other words he is leaving everything in God's hands....

  • going to be one of my traditional wedding song

  • this is really traditinonal music from we igbos i really appricate for posting this song, it moves me alot, greetings from swiss.

  • A REAL IGBO CLASSIC!!!

  • Forget the girls, enjoy the song!!!!!!!!!

  • This Mr Biafran4Life is just a PLAYER HATER.

  • to be honest...i'm an iGBO man..n the beauty of african music is that u dance how the music moves u...we are un-inhibited...thats the diff between african n white music...we have no rules or steps unless it is a specific ceremony...period...

  • Oh! so these are what the oriental brothers look like; this's the first time I've ever seen them; The female dancers' moves aint all that bad; women dancing and shaking their arses aint bad afterall; they were not nude. Many people condeming these are actually much morally worse either in their own closet or flagrantly hypocritical. No one should presume it's a blatantly evil thing for dancing women shaking their arses (igbo/ibo or not).

  • alguien q sepa mi idioma me diga donde consigo estos exitos

  • grow up biafra4life

  • dirty scenes. ibos need to wake up. clean up, my people. i a bini but love ibos to death. i don't speak the language but love their musics.

  • Hey,dude. We lost our value in the world, because of we don't appreciate our culture.Codewit......u get my support!

  • Go to EBAY website and search for "Oriental Brothers"

  • Can we stop using our women in these rubbish dance videos? Nigerians (in Nigeria) of late have been watching a lot of trash from Zairean and Congolese musicians where men bleach their faces and have also copied this irritating shaking of buttocks and gyrating asses like whores. It is a shame we have lowered ourselves to this level of moral depravity. REPULSIVE DANCING SIMILAR TO THE INTERUPTIVE MUSIC YOU HEAR WHEN WATCHING NOLLYWOOD MOVIES. Have we lost the plot as a nation of copycats?

  • hey go and die or go to your stupid church and live there. this kind of dance has evolved centuries. what are you talking about? why watch the video if you dont like the dance. are u jobless or do u need a job to keep you away from youtube. dont vent your frustration on a nice traditional dance and music. GET A LIFE!!!

  • You must be out of your senses or simply a hater. By the way how do you prefer them to dance? Is it only whores who shake their asses. Well, if you dance your behind shakes, then you are a whore too. Now, if you don't have any other thing to say, just take a seat and when those women start shaking their behinds, cover you eyes so that you won't see it.

  • ^closet gay.

  • u are dirty hypocrite.

  • I like this song am an igbo girl but their dressing isn't good, and they shake their bums. Igbo women do not shake their bums when they dance

  • this is nice, i tell you.Where is sir warrior now?

  • warrior's been dead for over 5yrs now, this once are clowns. But its nice to have the original song here.

  • Music is eternal.

  • Love this song!!!!!!

  • In fact,i don't have words as this music is really driving me back as the original Nigerian music. Really do appreciate those that have brought this to lime light...This is the original music of ours n i will continue to love this for as long as i live..Although,i am right in Malaysia but all my mind is at home whenever i listen to this wonderful music..

    Bob....

  • i love this song so much. av been looking for it FOREVER!!!!! thank you so muc codewit.

  • Hey thanks you millions times for bringing up this music, even am not a nigerian, but i first hear this in 1979 in my country, and since then i loved the group,, plz where can i be able to buy it,, cheers and keeps it up

  • this music emdodies the igbo philosophy, culture and dignity but I frown at the dancers and their shabby dresses. this is culturally demeaning.

  • Love music.Plz can some one post felix liberty, daniel wilson, sonny bobo, alex o,edmond spice, jimmy akama, dready boys and more of onyeka owenu?

  • Twins Academy pupils loves this music so much!

  • ct121212...you are an idiot! why shd they play for only Igboi ppl....i dont speak Igbo but this is great stuff that no one should try and keep for only their village ppl:-)

  • this is song reminds me my old days at Awka when muscles have not turn stiff....good job codewit.....what about "Celestine Ukwu" that will be fun to hear once again....

  • I congratulate the people that masterminded the resurection and coming back of our original Igbo/National musical Identity The Oriental Brothers Band of Nigeria. More grease to your elbows .ZUBBYSON.

  • i love the igbo music.

beside the oriental brothers is the best .

i hope one day the oriental brothers we come and play in the uk for igbo people in uk.

big up my igbo people .

we are looking forward to seperate from mad nigerian .

    long live biafra.

    from,

    mad man gangsta

  • LOL. Oriental is great. Unfortunately, they disbanded many years ago. Dr. Sir Warrior is dead. Kabaka is in the village rotting away. So a performance for 'Oriental' is not a possiblity. Ndo..

  • That is very sad to hear.....But I mean cant the remaning four members...Kabaka,Hybrilous, Dan Satch and Ichita go on performing as they are in this video...why do they have to rot away....I'm so sad that

  • Ndiigbo do not appreciate these icons, genuises legends..who made us very happy and sane through their music.I mean does it mean that in the next 20 years that when we go to Igbo parties that we will be playing rap music instead of Orientals, DeCoque, Osadebe and others? MAY GOD FORBID!!!! Ihe aru ka o bu!!!!Ndiigbo kpafuru akpafu dika aturu....Chineke nyere anyi aka ka westernization ghara i napu sense anyi Amen!!

  • who doesn't appericate the "icons", dumb bitch, ANY igbo gathering/household is playing oriental brothers right now.

  • Why are you preaching the message of division?

Have you not heard that united we stand, divided we fall.

Your gospel of division is that of hopeless people.

We africans are not hopeless despite all our problems.

Try look for a solution to your peoples problem, and stop preaching the message of hatred.

  • Ndi Igbo Kwenu!!! Nice one bro..ji si ike!

  • Boy,those girls are elegant.Keep it up!

  • Ndigbo, how long will you be in back stage of things. Thanks for remaining us of our root.

  • Codewit, I salute you ! na you biko !

  • CODEWIT thanks for being the igbo traditional and cultural ambassador on the internet and the youtube. we are unconsciously losing our identity. more power to your elbow. U are appreciated here by nigerians in the carribeans. MUCHAS GRACIAS.

  • This is the real ikwoo kirikwoo n'ikenga

  • Thank you for the clarification, Madiebo. In deed, we must cherish these folks while they are here. Does anyone have any information on the Skylarks, the Peacocks, Olarije, etc? Codewit, can you post anything by any or all of those folks I mentioned? Keep up the good job.

  • Wow You know the Peacocks and Olariche? Well if that I knew where you live or where you base I could have given you some Audio CD's as I have all those guys and more. If you Dont Mind how old are you that you know these people?

  • And yes Dan Satch is lip singing to Warrior's voice

  • Is this really the Oriental Brothers Band? Is Dan Satch now the lead singer? Why was he singing but the voice heard is Warrior's? The dude playing the conga looks like Warrior but I am aware that Warrior is deceased. Where are Kabaka or Akwila? I thought the musicians were impostors, somethings do not jell or seem right. In any case, do not delete the video. thank you for posting them anyway.

  • Kabaka is there and Dan Satch is now the lead singer. As for Akwila I dont know where he is. They are not impostors but rather they are making due with what they have left. We should cherish these last moments we have with thwm before they leave us.The Oriental Brothers and Oliver de Coque are all we have left. May God help Ndiigbo before we loose our identities to westernization.

  • Yes they are the original oriental brothers, not fake.

  • what makes you uncomfortable about it?

  • If you have any Peacocks International please put'am

  • Dan Satch has aged considerably I did not even see Kabaka. The video is still superb man!!!

  • What wrong with it? Onye nye gi review ojo a gam a ma onye aka nti. Its a great video keep it up!!!

  • Biko amakwala. The songs are good, very good but it seems like the girls/dancers smoked something.

  • Nsogbu Adiro I just want you to know that I am your biggest fan!!! And I love what you do

  • @codewit I think everyone in the video smoked a little something even the boys on the dance floor. Honestly, this is very cute and reminds me of home. Can't help it, cus our women dance with their hips, its down to earth traditional.

  • I don't feel very comfortable uploading this video. I did because i received lots of mail asking for oriental brothers. I will remove it if i receive bad review.
