That's very interesting--he completely misses the point of the experiment, despite the movie pegging it so well. The point is--the cat is simultaneously alive AND dead, until we observe it. The universe has it both ways. How can that be? It is not for us to understand. Hashem does not owe us an answer. Embrace the mystery.
Which is not to complain about Stuhlbarg, certainly. He is nothing less than genius in this movie.
