did you also know the 7 hour battery requires an extra $125 dollar half inch attachment? so its not truly a 7 hour. you have to make it heavier, thicker and spend more.
and all those other specs are great. Im saying the new macbook pros will be the same orr beat it....
Yes...the battery slice puts it at 7lbs and it's an extra $125 which gives out approximately 7 to 8 hrs. In comparison to adding the extended battery it still doesn't compare to the price tag of the comparable macbook pro 15. It also dishes out more battery life than the MBPro 15 with the slice. And if apple does improve their outdated hardware, it will need more battery power to process the intel i7 quad core. I imagine that apple will go with the intel i5 instead.
The new MBPs will fall short in terms of graphics. I also highly doubt that they'll have quad-core i7s in them. They'll be better in terms of battery life, though.

I like the video, however im not sure about the laptop itself
Reasons;
(Obviously this is a macbook pro competitor so ill compare between them since I will e getting one or the other)
1. This does not come with flush glass screen nor, optical drive.
2. Battery is 2.5 hours.
3. Heard the touchpad is terrible and two finger scrolling is lacking
4. Apple will be coming out with i7, HD5000 ATI series notebooks in a couple months for the same price, beating this in every way =[
