What amazing talent! ... I am trying to promote another yet undiscovered artist with a really amazing voice. Please visit my channel, watch some videos and tell me what you think.
Amazing!! Masterpiece.. Glad that I've lent my ears to this song and glad that i've downloaded the entire album for free at DownloadMusic/./im , remove the slashes..
BS. Simon loved Flawless, DIversity, Aidan Davis, George Sampson, the Mini Mezzos, MD Showgroup, Ben & Becky, Luke & Charlotte, Stavros Flatley, Scott Holtom, Cheeky Monkeys, Boogie Babes and Sophie Mei--all dancers. He also loved Craig Wormersley (baton twirler) and Kate & Gin (canine freestyle), Sue Son and eScala (violinists), Kieron Gaffney (drummer) and Julian.
Not "MILLIONS" but a few hundred a year. In 2009, a bit less than 450 actually auditioned. That was more than in any year before, so the total is more like 1,000. There were more dancers (15) in the 2009 semifinals than singers (13--some of whom also danced). (There were 3 instrumentalists & 9 other acts--juggler, dog, ventriloquist, etc.)
Besides, you said that SImon likes ONLY singers. I showed that wasn't true.
@gslusher And for the record, I said he KIND OF only likes the ones that can sing. I was just joking, since the last several videos I'd seen were ones in which he buzzed out the ones who didn't sing..you're making a big deal and wasting a lot of energy on something so small.
The U.S has a similar feel good story, Donald Braswell came in 4th on AGT last year. On his first audition he came out in a crumpled business suit and the crowd was mocking him like they did Susan and America was worse, they started booing him, but instead of running off the stage, he kept singing and his voice is a God given gift that turned the crowd around to where they were giving him a standing ovation like they did Susan. Check out Your Raise Me Up on Youtube. Susan/Julien are awesome!
Thanks for the heads up I watched Donald Braswell, what a spectacularly bad mannered audience!! In Britain booing and jeering is frowned on as poor manners, they almost drowned the poor guy out! Luckily he had the balls to carry on!
YewandeRae, I'm an American and am ashamed of the crowd's response but very proud of Donald's courage in the face of that negativity to still deliver an awesome performance with his heart. I really love Julian too! To give the spectacular performances he does has to come from the heart also!
YewandeRae, Donald was the last performer of the day and the crowd had seen really bad acts up to his entrance on stage @ 5:30pm. Donald said they were booing him as he walked on stage. What you don't see on the video is that Piers stands up and faces the crowd and motions for them to quiet down which they did and then they could hear Donald and started cheering him. Donald was on a PBS special and shared that with the viewers so I know it is fact. Thank you Piers!
You know its what I would've expected from an Englishman, that's what disappointed me so much, I dont know if he was there for Simon Cowell whose programme it is, but that's why I was so mad! Its the very least I would've expected & Im glad he did that because as you said Donald could not be heard. Booing is so frowned upon in the UK its so not cricket, booing people are ejected for being bad sports, these shows maybe a vehicle to fame but by god they make my skin crawl,
if you have the occasion please just try to play for 2 seconds and you will see what difficult it is just to made a noise with the saxophone! JUST REMEBER THAT AND TRY-IT!
The World Addicted to Negativity! You find em' everywhere. People should take care of their own life negatives before applying them to others...GO Julien your kids deserve it!
Julian Smith??? he is Joolz Gianni...iam surprised he is here...he is a professional... search on google or on youtube....he has been playin for bigger crowds than bgt...i am shocked the way he is behaving... he is jus faking it...
There is a powerful secret that Susan Boyle uses to make us cry. Just watch 140 Tubarc - Susan Boyle Secret Code for Weeping. Give me a feedback if you were smart enough to get it . . ..
O GOD' help this man pls ! may he win... pure soul with emotion i listen this atleast 20 times and everytime i want to hear more and more ... GOD bless u .
You play like my old dad.... so so so beautiful, you too would have sounded like a gift of the gods. My dad played the tenor sax... he would have admired you so much....
Super! Super!! Super!!! More power to you, Julien! Your interpetation of thias song has brought me to tears! May you reach your goal as well as a better future for your family. Smashing performance, mate!!
anybody who says he is good probably doesnt play an instrument, all the guy was oing was employing a ton of sustain, occasionally mixed with a softer, breathier attack speed.. there was no complexity there. people just think hes inspiring, because of his story and his face.
thats not entirely true im a saxophone player guitarist and percussionist and well its true he is not very complex he is simple but but i think hes good just for the simple reason that his music is admiring and so is the way he plays it with great emotion and feeling not very varied but smooth clear and right just the way an instrument is meant to be played
honestly though, i agree he puts emotion into his music, he achieves that thru sustain. but honestly, its not winner material, or even professional material.he did not demonstrate mastery over his instrument, and even his emotion could have been more complex than single note sustains.
i get what you are going at but I play the alto saxophone and I think slower music is designed better for it. It may be the same for the soprano. But i don't know how well a fast song would go, plus what is mastery? If mastery is able to play every type of combination possible then he surely didn't do that. But he did show that he could play well which you can't deny.

Never thought so much emotion can be evoked with just an instrumental and some power of the lungs to hold the last bit.

You ever notice, Simon Cowell kind of only really likes the ones that can sing? If they don't sing, they don't get nearly the reaction out of him. ;P

Actually if I were a judge on that show Id have stopped him turned to the crowd and siad either shut up and let the man sing or get out now!
They were responsiblr for allowing it to continue and they shouldnt have, how can you judge something with that racket going on?
they behaved like soccer hooligans he should have stood up and cleared the room.
its all about breeding isnt it...... if it were them on stage, well none of them had the balls to do any better! x
