@youngaceondeck Actually you can also stream music, photos and music from your pc to xbox. You can also play old xbox games. There's not blu-ray player, but you can watch movies that are in dvd. It also has a usb port, which you can connect external keyboards, not just from microsoft. I don't know about the external hard drive though. Besides, xbox now has a youtube application which is awesome like hell.

Sure you can plug in your hdd through a usb, but that's because PS3 requires you to download your games to your hard drive, where as on the xbox it's not necessary at all.

@youngaceondeck but the problem with the PS3 is that it tries to be too many things, a game console is supposed to be the primary product, instead your getting so many other things and in this case it means the gaming / social experience suffers. Its harder to get together with friends, it takes too long to put a game in and play (updates etc.), & u need a new online account for a lot of games, U can hook your pc and stream media and can connect ext hdd to xbox by the way....
