  • WHERE THE FUCK CAN I FIND THE ORIGINAL SLOW VERSION OF THIS SONG! the version where theres a low voice country guy singing it! WTF?! FUCK YYOU YOUTUBE!

  • Sweet blend ...

  • Was this an advanced futuristic vocal jazz / hot harmonies group.WOW for old chaps, you killed and thanks for uploading this video.

  • @drlezid Talent knows no age or era. Talent these guys had, in spades.

  • Replaying this over and over! Loving the joy they had!

  • Gene Puerling is a genius! I had the pleasure of meeting him backstage at a Jazz Festival in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1991. My college jazz group did Puerling's arrangement of "A Nightingale Sang In Berkely Square", (that would be the same arrangement he wrote for The Manhattan Transfer). A very cool man with mad, mad skills. The Hi Lo's were the high point of the festival, fantastic!

  • Lennon and McCartney may have been innovative when it came to lyrical artistry and taking vocal harmony with Starr and Harrison to a new sophistication in the genre of Rock music, but NO ONE has or will equal the vocal blend arranged by Gene Puerling and achieved by the HI-LO's as a group! Put simply: The greatest vocal group of all time!

  • This is so cool! Way to swing those solos, guys! I'm marveling at finding the Hi-Los on YouTube, much less this song with the classic Puerling arrangement treatment that I've been hearing all my life thanks to my dad owning all of the original Hi-Los albums on vinyl! :-)
