im quite skeptical about rooney he's a star if he scores on the 1st couple of tries but whenever i see him miss the first few attempts he gets too pissed off n frustrated n messes up alot

agree completely, heskey is gud but not gud enough to be a starter for the england team. should probally be rooney and either crouch, defoe or cole as the second striker.
i think he could easily play in a 3-man midfield, just like he has been doing with milan, with hargreaves/barry as the defensive midfielder, him doin what he does best in the centre, and either gerrard/lampard attacking and helpin support rooney up front
that is exactly why beckham still has a future with england, but only in centre midfield. he cant be played on the wing anymore in my opinion, hes too slow there and always seems to be in the position of a right-back, wot needs to be done with him is exactly wot man united have done with giggs. move him into the center, he is still as skillful and fantastic with his passes as he has been all his career, but he has no pace anymore. but as this clip shows he could easily play here
