Anyway, that lady had stated that women involved in domestic violence used cannabis ("marijuana"). What the hell does that have to do with the drunken men that are beating them?

Perhaps those women are using cannabis to calm and relax them while easing the pain from their shattered, alcohol-destroyed life?

That lady on the phone could have been easily mistaken for a pro-cannabis advocate. What a stupid woman.

If you smoke it too much it makes you lazy. The idea that marijuana leads to domestic violence is ridiculous and obviously come up with by people who have never smoked it. i dont think anyone realizes what the acronym SAFER stands for, they are always like dont compare it to alcohol, the A is for alternative, meaning another recreational drug to be used in place of something else and in this case he is talking about alcohol

Very interesting. You would actually think the older crowd (40 years +) would have a more open perspective towards ending prohibition being that they lived the hippy-ages. I'm pretty sure that the lady on the phone was referring to the womans husband but since she was experiencing call-waiting it interrupted her with silence so there were portions missing.

What the woman on the phone failed to mention was whether the abused woman's husband was actually under the influence of marijuana at the time of an altercation.

I worked in a correctional facility for three years, not one time did I see anyone being arrested for domestic violence for just smoking marijuana. Alcohol was the problem 90% of the time. Legalize MJ.

To call legit grievances a ploy is a game and a technique in order to defend and continue oppression, tyranny, hypocrisy and injustice. The dishonesty of asking what message it sends to our children to legalize pot while enjoying wine in front of children at the dinner table is repugnant.
