People here may be not get it but people didn't get the iPad and it's one of the most successful consumer electronics devices in history. Netbooks running XP are slow and crappy, this is using a SSD Drive so is super fast, light, has 3G and most chrome apps have offline modes if needed.

With the state of upload speeds at the current moment in time, for someone who wants to have music on their chromebook and therefore the cloud it will take them like 3 weeks to upload if you have a fairly large collection... Storing everything on the cloud is stupid especially when people don't have the internet speeds to support it. The data packages for 3g to stream your music are ridiculous, why would I pay like $50 a month to stream 300 songs when I could pay 0$ and play infinite.
