Question, What hardware or software did you use to convert your 8MM movies to use here on U Tube . I would like to do the same with my 8MM movies as well as my VCR Tapes. I see your into railroad , myself , Flightsim FS2004. I was assigned with the 1501st TAFB in the late 50's Chuck, N9497S
I am going to take an educated guess that this was taken at NAS Miramar. General Dynamics Convair Division was responsible for the production of the Atlas missile. The plant that produced the Atlas was in Kearny Mesa very close to Miramar. Looks vaguely like it too, but could be Vandenburg AFB in Lompoc also.
this should improve take off distance slightly....
