Coitus interuptus is by far better than wearing tight underwear, or taking a hot bath... If you take any amount of the baby batter out of the equation, it will decrease the likelihood of pregnancy resulting. I AM NOT SUGGESTING THIS AS A PRIMARY METHOD OF BIRTH CONTROL! Withdrawal is NOT highly efficacious, however it can be used IN COMBINATION with other methods (ie: birth control pills) to decrease the chances of pregnancy- it certainly won't increase accidents in the case of the pill.
