The $2,000 price tag is not realistic for me.
There would be insufficient profit to keep them in production.
Merlin is packed with quality (expensive, reliable) components and will be made in the USA and come with an extended warranty. Most MotorMixes are still running strong after 10 years, and I intend to continue that tradition !
I have been considering whether to make the monitor section an option at $1000 extra, but that means a re design at this point.

im getting one of these as soon as they come out. I love my Motor Mix and this looks much better then the Digidesign ones...pluse they're expensive!
I hope this will be in the 2k area....

Merlin is still in the works.
I have been trying to get financing to build the first production run, but the bank (B of A) is dragging its feet. I am working on getting a small business loan instead.
I never thought that financing would be this difficult in America!
The banks love getting 0% money from the FED because they can gamble it on Wall Street instead of loaning money to their customers.
