  • i love that place looking at it from when i was in kindergarden all the way up to last year when i left i will send my kids there <3 once in LGB forever in LGB

  • EXACTLY as I remember Ecolint '73-'81 - what a wonderful trip down memory lane, encompassing a great deal of my youth!!

  • Oh my goodness.... how cool of you to think to film this all that time ago... I know it could seem boring or pointless to the average...but it is crazy how much changes... but still some familiar sights....

  • This was shot just after I left Ecolint, in 1973. The only difference I found was the house facing the Château gone. So many memories. Alexander is there...

  • OMG - down memory lane

  • my god, this school has changed so much!

  • someone just started a site on facebook called auberge de la poste.

  • @1URESAM - une canette grenadine on a May afternoon after class - the way we were ...

  • @bobvidpix

Absolutely. And if you were too broke for a cannette but wanted to hang out you would be reduced to syrop framboise.

  • awesome. when did you actually film this?

    i graduated in '84.

  • it has changed SO MUCH since then

    LGB 2009

  • Where's the Green Door? I'll always remember the warm sugar buns with jam inside - shutters opened at 10am! And Miss Gavigan's Scottish brogue "right round the field...."

  • I'm impressed that you had the foresight at your young age to shoot a film that was clearly intended to be looked at as a middle aged adult forty years later.

Loved the glimpse of "Magic is a foot, my friend" at 1:32!

    Got any more?

    jon winston, '72-74

  • This is amazing! Just a few weeks ago I was up at three in the morning suffering from nostalgia trauma and looking for movies of Ecolint. There was nothing at all. Then this!

    Hi Matthew!

  • Thank you for this short film. I will never forget my day in the International School and specialy the walk to the school. Brings so many good memories.

  • Wonderful to see the school as I remember it.

These days, it has become a stranger to me...

Don't we love a little nostalgia?!

  • Thanks. Brings back a LOT of memories!

  • My goodness! How wonderful!
